Adult only and dog friendly touring park, Flaxton Meadows is a peaceful base offering the best of both worlds, being just 15 minutes from York and ten minutes from the start of the Howardian Hills, within easy reach of the North York Moors. The site is kept small, with just 25 pitches for campers and tourers with excellent eco-conscious facilities including a bar, pizza, nature trail, a launderette and a facility block with underfloor heating.

Excellent clean campsite. Lovely pitch with lots of space for awning tables etc. Toilet block was excellent and always clean, in fact probably the best we've been in. The wardens were amazing and very approachable. Nothing too much trouble for them. Lovely bar area with very reasonable price drinks. Warden ls took us to our pitch and gave us all the information about the site and surrounding area.

Great small park. Quiet and rural. Lovely amenities. Absolutely loved the bar on site. Highly recommend and will return when back in the area.
