Quiet with an amazing view
Single Axle Caravan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 The campsite was perfect for our trip to Dartmoor. It is quiet and clean and has a spectacular view.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 Once again another fantastic stay. Very quiet site, with a view to relish. Toilets and shower rooms are very clean and Roy the warden is so pleasant. Will be staying again and highly recommend.

A little piece of heaven
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Jun 2023 As you enter the wooded tunnel entrance it felt like you were in a fairy tale. At the other end we were greeted with a big warm smile from Roy and the beautiful camping meadows he has created.
Pitches were well placed and cut out in the long grass. Main facilities are in the top meadow and were clean, well maintained and the shower was lovely. There were also toilet facilities in the lower meadow.
At Cannamore it’s all about peace, nature and appreciating the importance of the meadows and the wildlife they attract.
Thank you Roy and team for this amazing place and for making us feel so welcome. It was great chatting with you about the area and finding out about your family’s farming history as well as your continuing good work regards the meadows and wildlife pond.

Our stay
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) Jun 2023 We stayed for 2 nights. Beautiful, peaceful meadow with small circular plots spaced out very well, all with amazing views of the Devon countryside.
Very convenient for Dartmoor and South Devon beaches, but only a few minutes from the A38. Perfect for those who like a relaxed stunning setting, with very clean facilities and lots of space.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches May 2023 Great, small site which is perfectly located with great main road access but quick to main coast line and moor areas. Very clean, tidy and quiet.

Peaceful spot close to Dartmoor
Single Axle Caravan - Grass Touring Pitches (Optional Electric) May 2023 Great campsite with a beautiful view of hills and fields and plenty of birdsong. Good basic facilities, hot water and good water pressure in the shower.
It's a basic set up, a couple of fields with a row of toilets and shower cabins to one side. If you're looking for a wild camping experience to get away from the car-park style campsite, but still want a shower and have access to drinking water, this is a great place to start.
The owner was friendly and helpful, the site has separate recycling bins for cans, glass, compost and landfill. Only suggestion would be to have another couple of hooks in the shower room to make hanging clothes and towel while you shower easier.
