Quiet campsite close to Weymouth
VW-Type Campervan - Super Grass Pitches (Large) Apr 2026 Excellent Campsite with very Limited amenities.
Although it was the Easter break it was so quiet. The toilets, shower block and dishwashing facilities were spotless. There was a pub a 5 minute walk away, which was dog friendly and had a lovely picturesque beer garden. Please note, The site is quite exposed to the elements, so last night in 40 mph winds we did think the Tent would take off!! Luckily the Vango air tent stood up to the high winds. Only 4.5 miles from Weymouth. So if you want a very quiet site just a few miles from Weymouth look no further. We will be back. 5 stars 🌟 .

Lovely campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Apr 2026 Stayed for 3 days with hook up.
Location was perfect with a nice pub and farm shop in the village. Campsite has vending machines that do a vary of foods and drinks especially the milkshakes. Showers /toilets were spotless and grounds very kept clean and tidy.
As long as you like the smell of a farm and a few crows, you'll love it here we did.

Quiet & peaceful
Twin Axle Caravan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Apr 2026 Lovely, quiet site and not too crowded, we had a serviced site which was by a little brook, it was so pretty.
The washroom facilities although spotless for the size of the site was small. There seemed also to be a lack of those little extras we all forget to take or run out of. Would I go back? Yes, I would.

Beautiful campsite
Motorhome - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Apr 2026 The most spotlessly clean campsite, in a pretty village surrounded by rolling hills. The staff were helpful and friendly and the dairy shop is a useful asset.
We loved having such easy access to the dog walking field next to the campsite and enjoyed the walk down the old railway line to the next village. We will definitely come back.

Clean campsite
Single Axle Caravan - Semi Serviced Grass Pitches (Medium) Apr 2026 Lovely site and very clean toilets and washing facilities. Think the price per night is quite expensive considering what there was on site. However, staff were friendly and the vending machines were handy.

Loved it
Single Axle Caravan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Mar 2026 We loved our stay at this campsite. Squeaky clean amenities, well-maintained pitches, and very friendly staff.
Our favourite bit has to be the "vending shop". There's no "camp shop" as such, but a farm shop 2 minutes' walk away. The "vending shop" has fun machines that dispense milk/milkshakes, freshly squeezed orange juice (you watch the oranges being squeezed!). There's also handy bits such as bacon/egg/sausage/pasties (made locally), sausage rolls, cheese, cereals, chocolate & snacks, drinks and condiments.
And the best machine dispenses luxury ice cream. We'd go back just to use the machines again!

Easy check-in process. Good pub, cafe & farm shop within a 5 minute walk.

Lovely!
VW-Type Campervan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Oct 2025 We only stayed one night, I wish we could have stayed for longer. The welcome was lovely and the pitch was perfect, appreciated having own access to water.
Loved the vending machines, all the essentials and more, and great to get fresh cup of coffee too. The main toilet/shower block were very modern and super clean, and surprisingly the porto toilet facilities at the far end of the site were lovely!
The small touches too, e.g. someone had put the heating on in the porto block and meant the early loo trip wasn't freezing! There was a field behind the site which was perfect for walking our energetic springer.

Quite, clean and spacious
Single Axle Caravan - Semi Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Oct 2025 We stayed for two nights here with our 3 dogs. The toilets and showers were clean and spacious. Vending machines had some basics and lovely extras that you could get 24/7.
The local pub was also a 2 minute walk and there was a farm shop and cafe. The site had an enclosed spacious dog walking field with a beautiful sunset. Access to footpaths all around.

Camping
Large Tent - Super Grass Pitches (Large) Sep 2025 What a lovely place to stay, we had a large grass pitch as we had a large tent.
The staff were lovely and pleasant. The showers and toilet block were very clean, the whole sit in fact was kept immaculate, my favourite part was the little vending machine area for the milkshakes, I enjoyed a milkshake every night.
Will definitely be back, great place.

Fantastic campervan stay in Sept 25

Amazing campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Super Hardstanding Pitches (Large) Sep 2025 We spent two nights at this lovely campsite, we had the super hard standing pitch which had a tv point a water tap and an electric hook up.
We had Wi-Fi too and at the entrance there was a few vending machines that you could buy butter, bread, milk, sausages etc. Shower was lovely and clean, as were the toilets. You come out of the campsite and cross the road and there is a deli cafe and also a pub which serves amazing food. Bus stop opposite the pub if you want to leave the van and explore.
This campsite had everything we needed to help us have a relaxing 2 nights away. Everyone we came into contact with was polite and friendly. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely come back and stay again.

An absolute gem of a campsite
Large Tent - Super Grass Pitches (Medium) Aug 2025 This campsite exceeded all expectations. The staff were all so friendly and so helpful! From our day of arrival, it was clear to us that it was so important to them that we had the best holiday there.
An incredibly well run campsite, with impeccably clean shower and toilet facilities-which were cleaned continuously. The vending machine room was a lovely little touch-providing lovely coffees and hot drinks, fresh milk, milkshakes, ice-creams and breakfast items, along with several staples too!
The campsite was so peaceful-you were surrounded by nature-and it felt really secure with number plate recognition bollards. Along with a pub a located a mere 3 minute walk away and The Duck Cafe, opposite, which sold local produce and served a delicious cooked breakfast - who could ask for more?!
A fantastic location to see all the beautiful sites that Dorset has provided as well.
As a family who haven't camped before, this site was an absolute gem! We couldn't recommend it highly enough and we will be returning there again!

A great stay
Twin Axle Caravan - Super Hardstanding Pitches (Large) Aug 2025 We really enjoyed our time here. The site was lovely and had good facilities regards shower and toilet blocks that were cleaned regularly. There was also option to purchase basic items onsite if you ran short ie. toiletries, snacks and drinks (from vending machines).
Good location with a pub just outside the site and farm shop. A bus stop also right outside if you wanted to go into Weymouth or any of the other local spots. Fabulous beaches just a few minutes drive away, and more local shops. We will definitely be going back. Thank you to all.

Excellent site and amazing staff
VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Hardstanding Pitches (Medium) Aug 2025 Beautiful surroundings and service.
We booked at the last minute, but not realising we had booked the same site first September. However having staying this weekend I'm so pleased that we've got the same site in September. I cannot recommend highly enough.

Lots of lovely walks from the site and for adventure further afield a bus stop Almost directly outside the site.
