Peace and quiet
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 A very well kept campsite. It was very quiet when we stayed. There was sufficient toilets and showers during our stay, I would be concerned if there would be enough to cope during busy periods. The pitches are very large, the largest we have ever stayed at anywhere.
There is a pub within easy 20 minute walk through the woods, they serve very good value meals. We would have liked to have walked to Fordingbridge to try other pubs, sadly the footpaths were very overgrown and not passable with shorts on. Obviously not the fault of the campsite.
Unfortunately we had to leave on Wednesday morning, as we would have liked to try the campsites Thai food. The menu looked very good and reasonably priced.
I gave the location just a 4 star rating because it isn't situated on the New Forest. We will definitely visit here again.

Great site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 This is a lovely site, kept very clean, showers toilets etc. Close to all points of interest and beautiful views the New Forest has to offer. Definitely would return. Staff were very friendly.

Lovey location
Motorhome - Electric Grass Hardstanding Pitches Jun 2023 Really easy to check in and out, and the facilities were clean and tidy. The pitch was also lovely, with your own green area, so we set up the badminton set, plenty of space, and no issue with the electricity, or grey waste.
We booked the kids into the new forest waterpark, which they loved, we booked a cab which was only £16. There is also a pleasant walk through the woods to the village and a nice dog-friendly pub. Lots of dogs on site which was nice to see as well.
We were not near the play area thankfully as the noise would have spoilt our stay, however, this is down to the parents and not the site. Something to bear in mind when booking a spot though, look at the site map and plan accordingly. 99% were respectful however.

We try our best to accommodate pitch preferences where possible, and do try to pitch couples without children or with older children away from the play area.
Great campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2023 A lovely, well managed campsite. Staff were great and very friendly. Highly recommend it, quiet and clean. Will be returning!

Beautiful site
Single Axle Caravan - Serviced Hardstanding Pitches May 2023 Just back from a lovely stay.
Wonderful pitch with hedgerows around the pitch giving a sense of privacy. Each pitch is extremely generous and caters for a caravan, awning, car and an outside seating area.
The site is silent at night! Not a sound, so peaceful and easy access by car to a cycle route around Ringwood.

Shepherd's hut
Shepherd's Hut - Shepherd's Hut (Dog Friendly) May 2023 Bed comfortable, kettle, toaster and fridge but no other equipment in the hut so need most of the camping equipment,. Shepherd's hut and facilities were clean. Showers at busy times could be cold and washing up water was never very warm.
Good site for children and adopts quiet after 10 which works!

I'm sorry you had an issue with the water temperature, we will look into that, thank you for letting us know. There is a 2nd shower and toilet block near reception which all are welcome to use.
Little gem
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2023 We loved this park! First time visiting but won't be the last. It was quiet and very clean. All members of staff were very helpful. The gates open via ANPR which was good as we realised it would be secure.
