About the site

Set in landscaped grounds with peaceful lakes and open space, this quiet touring park is perfect for enjoying nature. With waterside views, picnic benches dotted around and gentle paths for strolling, it's a lovely place to relax and unwind. The touring pitches are set on grass and measure around 8m x 5m, each with a 16 amp electric hook-up. These are suitable for caravans, campervans and motorhomes, with up to five people per pitch. Please note, there are no toilet or shower facilities onsite, so units will need to be fully self-contained. Fishing is a real highlight here, with three well-stocked lakes onsite. Anglers can spend peaceful days by the water trying to catch carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch and barbel. Alongside the pitches, the park is also home to three fishing lodges, each sleeping up to six people. These overlook the main lake and include bedrooms, a bathroom, a kitchen and a smart TV. The local village is just a five minute walk away, where guests will find a shop and a friendly pub for food and drink. There are also plenty of great days out nearby. Sandringham Estate is around 30 minutes away, with beautiful parkland and royal history to explore. For a seaside trip, Snettisham Beach is about 35 minutes away. Dogs are very welcome, with up to three allowed per pitch. There's nearby common land where they can run and play, along with plenty of scenic walks straight from the site. For cooking outdoors, BBQs are allowed as long as they are raised off the ground, though they may be restricted during very hot or dry weather. Open fires are not permitted.

There are no toilets and showers, so guests must have access to their own in their touring vehicle. There is a chemical waste disposal and fresh water supply, along with 24/7 CCTV surveillance for your peace of mind.

There are three fishing lakes with carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch and barbel. It is £8 for an adult and £5 for under 14s to fish for the day.

Things to do on site and in the Downham Market area

Fishing is a real highlight of the park, with three well-stocked onsite lakes to enjoy. Anglers of all abilities can try their luck catching carp, tench, bream, roach, rudd, perch and barbel.

For a peaceful day out, Oxburgh Estate is just 15 minutes away. This historic moated manor house offers beautiful gardens, woodland walks and plenty of wildlife to spot.

The famous Sandringham Estate is around 30 minutes away. This royal residence is surrounded by parkland and gardens, with walking trails, a museum and open spaces to explore. It's a great place to enjoy nature and learn about its royal history.

History lovers will also enjoy Castle Rising, about 25 minutes from the park. This impressive medieval castle is one of the best-preserved in England.

If you fancy some fresh sea air, Snettisham Beach is around 35 minutes away. Known for its wide open sands, it's a fantastic spot for walking, birdwatching and enjoying peaceful coastal views.
