About the site

Situated on the B5152, just a five minute drive from Frodsham, this family run park attracts families, couples and individuals. Why not try a spot of tent camping with 6-Amp electric and space to spread out on 28 grass pitches. There are 67 pitches on the touring park, all fully serviced with access to electric and fresh drinking water. For the ultimate treat, you can book a pitch with a private hot tub, one of which is for motorhomes and campervans only, while the others are suitable for tourers, folding campervans and more. Glampers have a great range of options, including a series of comfy glamping pod types and stagecoach glamping options, each with a comfy bed (or beds), furnished interior and a hot tub outside - the ultimate indulgence. All glamping also offers a fire pit, perfect for sizzling up something to eat. Most of the pods are adult only, except for the stagecoaches and deluxe pods. Deluxe pods offer a really heavenly stay with your own flatscreen and DVD for those evenings in, plus your own loo. Windsor and Superior pods include ensuite facilities! Pets are welcome to join you on pitches, but sorry they cannot stay in glamping accommodation.

Motorhome - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesAug 2025

We really enjoyed our stay here - the site was very clean and the staff were friendly and helpful. The playground was great for the kids and it was fairly quiet of an evening. Will definitely return!

VW-Type Campervan - Fully Serviced Touring PitchesAug 2025

Found this site as it seemed near Chester which we wanted to visit. Although on a bus route, times were not that regular and an on demand minibus service did not fit into rail timetables from Frodsham to Chester, so each day we had to pack up the campervan and drive. Also, we did not appreciate that this site was very popular with young families and was at times quite lively. This is not the fault of the site, but couples wanting a quieter break may wish to choose elsewhere. Also =, was slightly disappointed that Wi-Fi charges were based on each device rather than one password for all. Ended up using a weaker 4G signal as a hot-spot. Great site for young families with own transport to discover the surrounding area.

Site's response

Thank you for taking the time to leave your feedback Frederick. We're pleased you chose Lady Heyes as your base for visiting Chester, and we appreciate your honest comments. We understand that transport in the area can be a bit limiting without your own vehicle, and we’re sorry to hear that the on-demand service didn’t fit well with your plans. As you mentioned, Lady Heyes is a popular site for young families, particularly during peak periods, and while that creates a lively atmosphere, we understand it may not suit everyone looking for a quieter getaway. Our team is always happy to advise on the best times to visit for a more peaceful experience. Regarding the Wi-Fi, thank you for raising your concern — just to clarify, a purchased Wi-Fi code can be used on multiple devices via a personal hotspot, and this is explained in the instructions provided. We're sorry if this wasn’t clear at the time. We really appreciate your feedback and hope you still enjoyed exploring the local area. Wishing you all the best for your future travels!

Small Tent - Electric Grass Tent PitchesAug 2025

Really enjoyed our two night stay at this lovely campsite. Staff were friendly and welcoming and the set up was great. The tent pitch had loads of space even on a small pitch. Easy access to electricity and water. A short walk to the main facilities. Plus a nice play area and mini field for ball games.

Site's response

Thank you for your lovely feedback! We’re so pleased to hear you enjoyed your two-night stay and found everything well set up. It’s great to know the pitch worked well for you, with easy access to utilities and space to relax. We’re also glad the play area and field were a hit—perfect for making the most of your time outdoors. We hope to welcome you back again soon!
