Brilliant site

Brilliant site - catered for all ages and our furry friends! First time on this site and couldn't fault it. We're in a touring caravan, the pitches all had good facilities near (i.e. toilet/shower plus washing up facilities) and there was also a shower for dogs. After being on the beach all day, the site was cleaned thoroughly, well done to the cleaners! Husband enjoyed fishing at the lakes. The site is also near the beach and we especially loved the dog walking fields. They've thought of everything - takeaway food, clubhouse, cocktail shack, all too many to mention! Definitely would stay again next year.

Dog friendly with accessible beach

The location is lovely however the distance to Holywell beach is slightly further than you would expect. There is also a fence that you have to climb over to access the sand dunes which, with an elderly dog that isn't much of a jumper, proved to be a bit difficult. The other grumble is the WiFi, there is none. The only place you could access the guest WiFi was in and close to reception. 4G only worked in the middle of the night when everyone else's devices were not being used.

Thank you for your review. We do tell our guests that it depends on your ability on how long it will take you to walk there. It can take some guests longer, but it is worth it once you get to the beach. You can also walk down the footpath that runs alongside the road if it is easier for you. I am sorry you had some issues with the Wi-Fi and signal on the site. Due to the location of the site being in a dip we are in a bit of a signal dead spot. We do offer free Wi-Fi for our guests, however, we cannot guarantee the availability of this. The best places to get the Wi-Fi are in The Courtyard area or in Woody's. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

Great holiday park

Had a fabulous week here camping. Toilet/wash facilities were great and cleaned regularly. The pitch size was great- lots of room for car, tent and outside space. Great swimming pool and crazy golf (other facilities available too) and food options available. We didn't use the clubhouse so can't comment on that. A bit of a trek to the beach, but well worth it. Only thing which would have been better would have been a flatter pitch - it was on a slope and we felt like we were going to roll off the beds.

Thank you for your feedback on the toilet blocks, our cleaning team work hard to ensure they are always clean for our guests. I am sorry that the pitch was on a bit of a slope, if you came to reception the team would have been able to help you with this by either finding an alternative pitch or getting maintenance to help level your caravan/motorhome if you were staying in one. We hope we can welcome you back to Trevornick in the future.

Fantastic holiday even in the rain

We will book again next year, but now we know the site, will be specific on location to allow easy access to the open space areas for our children. Can't find fault otherwise, best campsite we have stayed at as a family for years.

Lovely family site

Stayed here as a group of 3 families, all pitched near to each other on yellow field. Pitch was perfect, near to all facilities and park for our young children. Toilet block was spotless, facilities were great, presence of staff reassuring. Entertainment was perfect for our children (4 and 6). Well stocked shop with very reasonable prices. Location meant visits to Perranporth, Newquay and St Ives were all within a reasonable distance. Would def visit again.

Family and friends holiday

We stayed for 9 nights with friends. The site is very busy. Our tent was close to main path and you can hear people going to the toilet all the time or back from pub or entertainment up to late hours of the night. I just feel more sorry for people opposite toilet as you can hear hand dryers going 24/7. The side is well looked after with beautiful view and great play area for kids. Good size swimming pool. Unfortunately, not everyone was driving slow and taking extra care about kids on scooters or bikes, so I stayed with mine mostly all the time. Shop on site is well stocked with not to bad prices, where you can buy fresh bread every morning. Nice walking distance to the lovely beach. I will recommend this campsite, but if you like peaceful and quiet evenings, you can be disappointed.

Excellent holiday park

Brilliant park all round, plenty for kids to do. Only 10min drive to Fistral Beach. Will definitely be back.

Lovely site and would come back again

Poor value for money

Way too far to the beach and not safe with a buggy nor walking through a golf course. Toilets not always clean, sometimes there was no water through the broken taps. Poor entertainment throughout the day, We visited with family, with tents caravans and motor homes. Age range from 15 months old to 65 Yes, it's all about being together and enjoying the outside, but I do expect a little bit more from the site otherwise we might may as well have just stayed on the field.

Campsite friendly and clean

This was the first time we stayed here and we decided to book up and come back next year. Friendly staff. Welcoming and happy to help. We were very impressed on how clean the place was and how on top of cleaning they were. Good hygiene, which is important to me. Lovely swimming pool. Clean and numbers were managed for safety. That was one concern of ours, the life guards were either talking to each other, not looking at the pool or walking around the pool together on their phones. So while I was in the pool, I felt like I had to keep my eyes on the pool in case anything happened while I was there. The campsite was lovely. Fresh coffee and cocktails when the lady was open. Good food. Lovely golf area. It would be nice for some of the activities to be included in price. We did not visit the entertainment. We were pleased with our stay and happy to return.

First time stay

Lovely campsite, loads of space and facilities especially for families. We stayed as it was close to Newquay and we were going to Boardmasters, which worked perfectly. Bus stop just outside the entrance and beautiful walk down to the beach, over the golf course and dunes, where the sea was good for paddle boarding and bodyboarding. Although, not the best for a surf :)

Brilliant stay

Very lovely campsite. Facilities were abundant and toilets were clean. Staff were kind and helpful. Would definitely come here again!

Great family site

Four families - stayed at the park for an average of 10 days. The facilities were faultless, clean and plentiful, especially for young families. There is plenty to explore local to the the site and two pubs walkable as well as Woody's Bar on site which we didn't know about until the last day. The Smugglers Den is highly recommended. It's about a 30 minute walk from the site across the fields opposite Londis. The only criticism of the site is location of the beach. Hollywell Bay is stunning but it's a difficult walk, approximately 40 minutes to get there with young children. There are many lovely beaches nearby but parking is expensive and the car parks are full on a sunny day by midday. The lack of lighting on the site is also an issue, so when returning from the courtyard in the dark, bring a torch.

Excellent campsite

Large pitch, site kept immaculate. Pool was busy but fantastic, and close to beaches and local village.

Very good camping

Great place for families with children. Everything you need is available. Clean bathrooms. Great pool and all the rest of the attractions. We were there for the second time and it won't be our last.

Great place

This is a great site for all the family. There is loads to do onsite for the children and you are close to Newquay and Perranporth. The staff are friendly and very helpful and are enthusiastic about the area, giving you good ideas on where to go in the area. The only downside was that the toilets on the field we were in shut at 10.00 till 11.30 every morning for a deep clean. Whilst this is good (I am not moaning about the cleanliness) it made the other facilities more busier. Maybe they could move the time a bit later. (I know this is picky but it is a review) I would definitely recommend the site and I would return in the future. Thank you for the wonderful stay.

Great stay

Great location, ideal for small children with heated outside pool and great beach access through the sand dunes. The facilities were ideal with shops and artisan food stalls in the evening.

The site was very good, but we were a long way from the water, waste and toilets.

Lovely weekend

Had a lovely weekend camping here with our two friends. Pitches next to each other. Great shop filled with more than you'd expect / need. Lovely outdoor pool, clean with lots of space.

Excellent

The holding area is a massive bonus for those that travel so far like us! Customer service was absolutely spot on, we actually had no issues so didn't report anything. Plenty for the kids to do, be safe and play on the fields at the top. Will definitely recommend to others!!

Lovely site

Never been to Cornwall before until now. The staff were so polite and helpful from start to finish, the facilities were really clean and good, everything about the site was bang on and will be recommending and rebooking again for next year. We all loved it and were so happy there and had a great time. We had days out every day all around Cornwall, but nothing was a pain for them to help us, had a brilliant pitch too. 629? Want this again next year.
