Spacious site, thankful for a dog free area, good clean sanitary facilities close at hand. "Base Camp" reception, shop and café area, again spacious and well staffed. Excellent pizzas and well stocked bar, beer festival was a bonus! Need to book a table in the restaurant as it is very popular at busy times but food service was quick, despite being full.

Great site. Base camp being reception, shop and bar restaurant. Bar prices are good compared to local pubs. Restaurant food! Well! You get plenty and good food. Overall, we are coming back.

Really well set out campsite. Set in beautiful grounds with lovely old trees and lovely countryside around. Lots of choice where you would like to set up, with different areas. Showers and washing up facilities close by. There was also a really nice bar/restaurant/cafe and shop on the site, again really well done and laid out, with a pretty area to sit outside too. Would definitely stay again and would recommend.

Excellent site. Lots to do for the kids. Very clean and lots of shower blocks. Only downside was that the washer ate my trousers 😳 so be careful with what you are putting in. Maybe I put it on the wrong setting as everything else was fine.
Fantastic pitch!

Our pitch was set in the orchard - it's the biggest pitch I've stayed and in a beautiful area amongst the pine trees. They could have crammed so many more tents in, but choose not to. The ground is gravel rather than a grass pitch, so take strong pegs. There is grass surrounding the pitch though. The showers and toilets are regularly cleaned, the shower could have been more powerful though which is my only gripe. There's a bar, restaurant, games room, zip wire, football pitch, shop and mini golf, so lots to do for the kids and my 3 boys enjoyed it (16, 14, 19). I'd definitely return.

Brilliant campsite and very friendly staff. The only downside was the lack of internet coverage.

Had a fab time here with my 8 and 5 year old. Facilities for kids are great, staff lovely and shared facilities clean and never queued for a shower!

The campsite is in a beautiful setting, with plenty of room on hard standing pitches and the facilities are unbelievably good. Very much enjoyed our stay, would recommend it to anyone.

This is our second visit to Clippesby. The site is set in a beautiful wooded area, which is very well kept. Very peaceful location and amenities are second to none. We stayed on plot 122, which is in the Heath. Lovely quiet and private location for several caravans, tents or campervans. Wooded area, with a central clearing. We had takeaway twice and thoroughly enjoyed both meals, but in particular the wonderful roast dinner and jam sponge with custard. The food is absolutely beautiful and tasted like home from home. Beautifully presented in takeaway boxes. I thought the food was priced fairly and the portion size was generous. The shower blocks are modern and gleaming. The cleaning team do an amazing job. If we had one criticism, it would be the lack of Wi-Fi on the individual pitches. This is exacerbated by the lack of a mobile signal. I really feel in this day and age, there is an expectation that we can connect online. Not everyone will agree with me and that is fine. Personally, I like to access the internet and use my phone, without having to go to basecamp. If the Wi-Fi and mobile phone signal was sorted out, then with out doubt, Clippesby would be our favourite campsite. If you are on the fence about visiting, don't be. You will have an amazing time. Thank you to all the staff who work incredibly hard and do an amazing job.

Beautiful site, everything you could need. My only criticism would be that the pitches are a little to close together, felt a bit crammed in.
Lovely campsite but not as dog friendly as I expected

Lovely campsite, very well maintained. Only downside is they say they are dog friendly, but you cant take them to the clubhouse if you fancied a drink or something to eat. You can sit outside on the patio but very weather dependant.

Loved our stay in beautiful surroundings. We really enjoyed an evening meal and a breakfast at the Basecamp, very high standard of service and food. Facilities for shower/toilet were very clean throughout our stay. Grounds on site well maintained with lovely areas to walk. Would travel from Wirral again to visit this site.
Not the best break I've had

Went out of school holidays hoping for a quieter break only to be invaded from Thursdays to Mondays. Large groups (about 8-10 families) in each field who completely took over with football & badminton nets, even had a water slide across the field at one point. All dogs off leads, which upset our own dog when they approached our tent. Not enough showers for a site this size when full. The 'shop' carried very little choice and stock. Although, the food at Basecamp was very good and great value for money it did not compensate for the rest. Will not be returning.
Fantastic site!

We are a family of 4 and not very familiar with camping - proper beginners. I can't wait to go back to this site for longer. The place is truly fantastic. Site is clean and spacious. Restaurant is lovely. Hidden attractions for kids is another plus! Perfect family holiday!
Lovely, clean site with easy access

Lovely quiet site (out of school holidays). Large pitch areas with lots of accessible walking pathways. Easy wide access from the main road, which is always a plus in the narrow lanes. Bar and restaurant are a lovely bonus. Clean showers with lots of hot water. Highly recommend.

A lovely site and one we have been to before. Staff very smiley and welcoming. Tiny recommendation would be to ensure all shower doors open with the hooks for towel, clothing etc on the open side.

Excellent site. Stayed five nights in our motorhome. Well maintained grounds with plenty of room on each pitch and the reception, restaurant, bar and shop all were excellent and looked new. Plenty to do if you have kids. It's a great base to head out from to explore Norfolk. All the staff we met were very friendly. A great place and excellent value for money.

We had a great stay the last few days, just what we needed. However, great park that it is, we were a little disappointed in the kids arcade room. The pool table took £3 of our money and we could not finish the game due to the white ball not coming out. The arcade game machines themselves did not register when we inserted money into them, so we lost money again. I think a slight revamp would be good, making the the room lighter with machines that work, etc. With having 3 children that enjoy such games, we were slightly disappointed. Overall, a great stay.

This was our first time away in our new campervan and we wanted to go somewhere that had food/bar and shop facilities and all amenities required and this site didn't disappoint. It was peaceful and had well serviced touring pitches. The cleanliness of the whole site was outstanding, the staff were very friendly and the site is close to the towns, should you need them. The only downfall is that the data signal wasn't great but you can access Wi-Fi connection in the restaurant/bar area.
