Located at Stranraer in the warm South West of Scotland and surrounded by beautiful landscapes and Scottish history, Aird Donald Caravan Park welcomes touring caravans, motorhomes, tents and club rallies. This friendly, family-run site also has a selection of camping barrels for those who want to camp, but don't want the hassle of a tent. WiFi is available.
The place to be for your Scottish caravanning or camping holiday, this site is equipped with numerous electric hook-up points for caravans and motorhomes on both grass and hardstanding. It's surrounded by beautiful Scottish landscapes in an area full of history. The location provides easy access Ireland, Northern Ireland and North West England, as well as wider Scotland. Pets are allowed on site, but please keep dogs on a lead at all times. There is a large wildlife population on and around the site and this protects that, and protects you from losing your dog. If you're travelling by ferry to or from Ireland, this is an ideal stop over point for your trip, being just 7 miles from the Stena ferries.
The park is open from 5th Jan until 20th December, weather dependent.
There are 23 hard standing pitches available for caravans and motorhomes, with optional electric hookup.
20 grass pitches that are suitable for touring caravans and small motorhomes.
There are 75 grass tent pitches available, all without electric hookup.

No flat bottomed fire pits or BBQs at all.
Raised fire pits and charcoal BBQs ( minimum clearance height 5 inches / 12.7cm ) are permitted using a thermal matt to protect the grass below.
The surrounding area has lots of things to do including horse riding, fishing, water sports, clay pigeon shooting, paint balling, golf and much more. For rainy days, a leisure centre with swimming pool and cinema are nearby.
