About the site
Set just ten minutes from Shrewsbury's medieval market town centre, this is a peaceful, adult only site, ideal for exploring the countryside on your doorstep. You can pick up local produce from the onsite shop, with Bartef offering a coffee shop, bar and chilled space to unwind. Campers can choose from a range of fully serviced pitches, each with a metered 16 amp electric hook up, water and grey waste disposal. Tents, trailer and roof tents, campervans, caravans and motorhomes are all allowed. There are 5m x 9m grass pitches, which include a neighbouring hardstanding 3m x 8m, ideal for parking your car. Or, if you would rather have a larger hardstanding area, there are 9m x 6m pitches with a 9m x 2.5m strip of grass, great for setting up your table and chairs. Tourers also have the option of hardstanding pitches only. Dogs are welcome, with up to three canines allowed per pitch. There is even a dedicated exercise area for them to stretch their legs. In the evening, you can cook up a BBQ, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. Open fires are not permitted.
