Moorhouse campsite is a picturesque family-run campsite set by the idyllic Quantock Hills, just a short distance from the Jurassic Coast and beaches. There are grass pitches for tents, two camping pods and a vintage caravan called Dolly available for hire. This is a great getaway for families with young kids, as they're sure to be entertained for hours on end by the playgrounds and guinea pigs.

Spacious, toilets and showers are cleaned regulary, has a microwave and a water kettle in the bbq area. Quiet and peaceful.

Highly recommend this amazing campsite in the lovely countryside. Great for our young family, lots of open space and a few outdoor climbing frames and sandpit. The bathrooms are super clean and functional as well as the shower blocks which are also family friendly. You can use their launderette for a very small fee. Literally the only down side is the on-site shop, which wasn't open whenever we went over and the logs for the fire pits are rather overpriced.

Absolutely beautiful. Very well managed and clean. Stayed in a pod, that was very comfortable and surprisingly cool in the hot weather. Plenty of public toilets always clean. Showers and laundry, including ironing facilities. Lovely bbq area including a fridge toaster and kettle. Staff very friendly and approachable. I can't recommend this enough. Will definitely visit again .

Lovely spacious, well kept site. We stayed on a grass electric pitch, which felt very private. Easy check in and friendly owners. We were given a map of the site and shown where our pitch was allocated. Pitches separated by hedges and lots of mature trees for shade. We hired a fire pit and logs for £20. It was exceptional value and a large wheel barrow of logs lasted all night. The facilities were very clean and well lit. Would recommend for couples and families.

We all loved staying here. Campsite was very tidy and toilets were cleaned often and remained clean. Plenty of washing up facilities. Play area for kids, well spaced out tent, so didn't feel like we were squashed at any time. Most people observed the 10.30pm silence, although schools of kids from the D of E scheme were quite loud in the play park. But only for one night. 50p for 5 mins in the shower, which is plenty of time even to wash your hair. Showers were always available with hot water and didn't have to queue once in our 3-night stay. Would go back and recommend... Even had a washing machine and dryers.

What an amazing site. The tent field was perfect with a great play area for the kids. Clean showers and a lovely outdoor kitchen. Ideal location for exploring. The late check-out was great and allowed us to have a chilled pack up. Thanks so much for a wonderful much needed break!

Great campsite, great location and close to the beach, for us it was the perfect location with family in North Devon. Really clean and well maintained. Site staff so helpful and always available. Also helps that we experienced three days of beautiful May weather!

Some suggested improvements, the 5 minutes water allowance in the showers is not sufficient for a hair wash and shampoo. Sometimes the 50p just gave very tepid water. There wasn't enough space in the cubicles to change without getting your clothes wet. We acknowledge that it is a working farm but the noise of the harvester on Saturday until 10pm totally distracted from the tranquillity of the environment.

Fab campsite! It was lovely to see all the animals around the site. The owners were very friendly and the local pub was lovely.
