First time camping and will sure be back
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 First time camping was a lovely camp site, good facilities on site including toilet/shower block and a place to wash up, little park. On arrival the staff were very welcoming and friendly.
During our stay you saw the staff very regularly checking the toilet blocks were clean and tidy and stocked up with toilet paper.
Would definitely come again.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2026 Lovely grass fields with great showers and plenty of toilets. Fridge for cool things available free.
Under the Gatwick flight path so aircraft noise quite noticeable. Nice 1 mile walk to the lovely Fox Inn. Also Co-op 1 mile away with good stock of provisions and open long hours. Nice bridleway link to the Guildford - Shoreham-by-Sea cycle path. Glorious off road disused cycle/walk route to the sea.
There were some fairly loud students camping on the Friday we stayed who partied until quite late, but probably they are not found here usually.

Mid-week break
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Perfect location for Thorpe Park and the South Coast. It was very quiet for our stay as we arrived just after bank holiday weekend. Very clean shower and toilet facilities.
The site is well maintained and situated in stunning, peaceful countryside. I had two happy teenagers and an extremely happy little dog on the journey home. Thank you.
Friendly campsite
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 The owners were extremely friendly and very accommodating. The electric was intermittent but they did everything to help rectify it.
The site was well maintained but could have done with a few more showers and washing up sinks. However, this was indicated by the owner when we arrived so we worked round it by going at the less busier times.
Great little find
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 A lively little campsite in Sussex. The facilities were very clean and I observed them being cleaned regularly. Lovely friendly staff and fellow campers.
The only thing I would say is the pitches were quite small and the tents were tight closely packed but it was a very lively atmosphere.
Lovely stay
Small Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 The location is easily accessible by public transport, even without a car. There are lots of lovely trails around the campsite, and the staff were super friendly and helpful.
However, the toilet and shower facilities can be improved, especially since the showers and toilets are in the same room, and the floor is almost always dirty. Since you don't get your own pitch but rather a designated area in a big pitch - you can be quite close to your neighbour campers and they can still be up quite late, and sometimes loud. It would be great if there was some sort of quite hour rule.
All in all, it was a nice experience.
Bank holiday weekend
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely little basic campsite, all staff are friendly and super helpful.
Only downside, could do with having a couple more washing up stations and a larger shower/ toilet block. I liked that they had a communal fridge, freezer and washing machine.
I would definitely recommend Sussex Topiary for quiet weekend getaway.

Quiet campsite in scenic setting
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely, open campsite in a beautiful area, with good flat grass pitches and plenty of space. There's a pizza van on Friday evenings which is delicious.
The pitches are informal and generous in size and there are good washing up, laundry and shower/toilet facilities, although only 2 showers for whole site (2 female/2 male) which could get tricky. It wasn't too busy, so this wasn't a problem for us.
It was very quiet at night, no road noise or rowdy campers!
