Fabulous, luxurious tent with lovely complimentary gifts and everything you need. A very peaceful location close to other villages and the coast. Great for walkers and dog lovers. Very friendly and helpful owners who are on hand via text should you need them. The hot tub is a great addition overlooking the Wolds.

The owners let us stay here for 1 night as it was the last weekend of the season, we wish we could have stayed for longer. Everything about the stay was amazing. The location was quiet and the views were beautiful. Jayne met us on arrival and explained how everything worked. She had even put on a little heater so the yurt was nice and warm for us. We did need to light the log burner later on in the evening, which was so cosy and warm. We loved the wood fuelled hot tub. In the colder months I would recommend getting extra wood as it did cool down quicker than it would in Summer. The fluffy robes came in handy for sure, I'd recommend bringing flip flops to go to and from the hot tub. Everything about the yurt was perfect. The bed was comfy and warm, we had everything we needed. We loved the little hamper with prosecco and treats, such a kind touch. I'd bring along a torch for trips to the toilet, we didn't think of that when we were packing. The private bathroom was a lovely touch, and the heated towel rail made sure the room was nice and warm. We would 100% recommend Wold Meadow Yurts.

Great for a quiet getaway! Spotlessly clean, luxury yurts with great attention for detail. Inside you'll find ample space, a king size bed and a log burner, a kettle, toaster and all the crockery/ cutlery you'll ever need! There is full electrics and also an electric cool box. There is an open kitchen if you require more cooking facilities. Outside a private patio area with fire pit and BBQ, not forgetting the wood burning hot tub! You get a key to your personal bathroom for the duration of your stay. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay as comfortable as possible including a beautiful hamper of homemade goodies made in York and a bottle of Prosecco on arrival! So glad we booked! Thank you Graham and Jayne, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

This was the first stay in a yurt for my wife and I, and it was first class. The location was secluded with great views over the beautiful valley. The site was clean, tidy and very well maintained, and was situated so that several East Coast attractions could be easily accessed. The facilities are all provided with your own solid fuel hot tub, patio, bbq, outdoor or indoor dining areas, and log burner to add to the fab atmosphere. The bed was big and extremely comfortable, and we couldn't think of anything that could have been done to make the stay any better. A small shared kitchen unit was nearby, and again had everything we needed to prep food, and cook the odd item on the hob. We were greeted by Graham the owner upon arrival, and he was very warm and welcoming. One thing you need to know is that the hot tub will need a good fire stoking in the little boiler unit at the back, and will take the best part of a couple of hours from cold. Graham was on hand to advise about the most efficient way to do this so had no problems. We really enjoyed the stay and found it to be a complete escape. Many thanks

I would 1000% recommend this place to anyone! It was absolutely perfect. Just what I've been searching for, for a long time. I found this little beautiful gem of a place and thought there's no way they will have any availability left for 2 days time. Low and behold, there was! I couldn't believe it and I booked it there and then, 2 days before we were due to go! I've always looked for a place to stay with a hot tub but always found them to be too expensive for a couple of nights. This however, was incredibly reasonably priced, I couldn't not book it! On arrival we were greeted and shown around by Jayne (one of the owners), she was so lovely and friendly and nothing was ever too much trouble for either her or her partner Graham. It is the most peaceful and tranquil place - exactly what we wanted and needed. We both have hectic and very full on jobs and needed somewhere to go to just totally relax and unwind and this is exactly what we were able to do here. From having breakfast outside and taking in the beautiful views, evening drinks outside, and the complementary Prosecco in the amazing log burning hot tub - again feeling completely relaxed and admiring the view. Being adult only accommodation was also an added bonus for us. The yurts themselves are stunning and furnished perfectly, including a little log fire! We absolutely loved everything about them. The bathroom building wasn't too far away from the yurts and we loved that we had our own bathroom that wasn't shared. We are regular campers, so are used to shared bathroom facilities, but we loved this idea of having a private bathroom! Everything was perfect, I literally cannot fault a thing. A massive thank you to Jayne and Graham and a huge well done for the wonderful site you have created. Hopefully we will be back soon - if not, next year! We absolutely loved our stay and didn't want to leave!

What a great trip this turned out to be for our first glamping experience! The Yurts are lovely, well equipped and both roomy and comfortable (for two) and I was particularly impressed by having my own shower/bathroom, which were nicely done out and immaculately clean. It's a bit different - but was overall a great experience on a nicely sized site in a pretty area which is also handy for the East Coast.

Me and my partner stayed here for 2 nights and from pulling up to the site to each morning we were welcomed by Jayne and Graham with big smiles. They honestly go out of their way to make the whole experience so relaxing and we cannot thank them enough for our amazing stay. The yurts themselves are clean, spacious and so uniquely presented with stunning views of the surrounding fields. The hot tubs were such a bonus and after exploring the local areas, it was so lovely to pop open some bubbly and watch the sunset, while relaxing in the fire warmed tubs. Could not recommend enough!

Arrived to a lovely welcome by Jayne and her son. The yurts are set in a great location, close by to all beaches. The yurt was well equipped with everything and the Prosecco and welcome box was a lovely treat. The hot tub was great with the hot weather, and used as a plunge pool. Will be back soon, hopefully.

Me and my partner had an amazing stay in the Foxes Lair yurt. The facilities were awesome and the service from Jane and Graham was spectacular. The attention to detail and the level of comfort were brilliant. Me and James will definitely be coming back soon.

The yurt was spotlessly clean. Had everything you need- use of a shared kitchen if required for cooking and use of own bathroom within bathroom block, again spotlessly clean. Towels supplied good quality too. Hot tub great. Surrounding was area very tranquil.

Booked this on a whim but was the best decision we made, it's so beautiful, stunning views and location is amazing! Literally had everything you need. We will definitely be back, even got a free bottle of Prosecco with our hot tub! Lots of little things that you know have had a lot of thought put in to them. Also one of the comfiest beds I've ever stayed in. Already looking to book again. Amazing place! If I can tell you to do one thing, it's to get booked here asap Thank you again for this amazing experience ❤️

This was a last minute booking (previous evening) but Graham was there to welcome us when we arrived and gave us a tour of the site, and also gave us a treat box of local produce - tea, coffee, chocolate and crisps, which was lovely. The site is so peaceful with only the birds and the breeze to be heard, it was so nice to sit in the hot tub watching the rabbits running around. The yurts have everything you would need and the shower/toilet block is only a few metres away. There is also a kitchen with a oven, hob and microwave if required. We had a wonderful relaxing break and would not hesitate to book again. I know this review sounds like all the others, but we can't all be wrong. Thanks again.

Would highly recommend staying here, what a beautiful place. The service was second to none and we had lovely chats with the owners throughout our stay. We were gifted a local hamper with lots of tasty treats as well which was greatly appreciated. Sitting in the hot tub with a glass of wine and amazing views, is just the getaway we wanted. Inside the yurt was spacious, warm and the hosts had thought of lots of little extras to make the stay comfortable. We had our own private toilet facilities as well which was an added bonus. Great location and everywhere really accessible. Would highly recommend, and we will certainly be back!

We spent two nights at Wold Meadow Yurts. Such a lovely restful experience, we felt fully recharged. The owners were there to meet us and made us feel very welcome. The accommodation was like home from home with such attention to the smallest detail. The breakfasts arrived on time and were delicious. Once again we would recommend Wold Meadow to any one a chill out time in a stunning location 😊 The Cooks

A last minute booking resulted in an amazing short break which was much needed. We received texts pre-arrival providing us with useful information, loved the gobsmacking views from the site overlooking the Wolds, and the yurt was absolutely beautiful. Jayne and Graham couldn't have made us feel more at home with all the small details in the yurt and hot tub. The Hot tub was located just to the side of each yurt with a small seating area and BBQ. You were even allocated your own shower and toilet in a block just across the field which was spotless. Nothing was too much to ask for. We even said we'd make an annual trip here, couldn't recommend this site enough. Thank you again, Ali & Tom

Just landed back from a 3 night stay at the Wold Meadow glamping site. Graham was a fabulous host and welcomed us, showing us round the facilities and telling us about the local area. The yurt was so cosy, equipped with everything you would ever need and more! We had dressing gowns, fluffy towels, a brolly for those rainy days, cosy throws for when the nights got chilly and we even had hot water bottles too! The wood fired hot tub was perfectly positioned for privacy and the gorgeous views. Very highly recommend a stay here. We will definitely be back! Thank you Graham and Jayne.
