About Wigwam Holidays Ball Hall Farm
The secluded woodland setting is an idyllic backdrop to the 12 pods onsite, and all pods enjoy lakeside views over this site's wildlife lake. Asa previous winner of Visit York Tourism award for Camping, Glamping and Holiday Parks - this is the ideal spot for your next York getaway. Four legged friends are welcome too and there is also a selection of fully accessible pods onsite. All pods are en-suite and fully heated so you can get a good night's sleep in a double bed and double sofa bed. The small kitchenette provides a fridge, toaster, kettle, two-ring hob, microwave and other home comforts including smart TV and WiFi. You can choose to hire bedding or bring your own Fire pits are set up outside your pod along with a picnic table for alfresco dining. Groups welcome.

Pod facilities are self contained with an ensuite shower room including a toilet, shower and sink. Fire pits outside each pod and firewood are available to purchase onsite. There is also parking by each cabin as well as an EV charging point on site.

This place was absolutely fantastic. It was beautiful scenery, peace and quiet from the main gaggle of loud holiday goers with a quaint little wood that offers plenty of area to find all sorts of wildlife, from baby frogs, giant hares and even deer if you're lucky. Having a fire pit with plenty of wood pile extras was definitely a good shout and it was surprisingly easy to cook on. The cabin itself felt like it was brand new with how spotless everything was when we first stepped in. It was of perfect size for the both of us with enough room to cook, clean and keep tidy quite easily. Added bonus was meeting all the different dogs walking past your cabin at night. We will definitely be coming back again. I could imagine this place looking even more magical in the winter time.

The site was very relaxing and peaceful, close to nature but with everything we needed in the pod close at hand. We had day trips to Scarborough, York and Allerthorpe Lake and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
