About the site
Garrison Campsite is situated on the beautiful Isles of Scilly, 28 miles from Land End in the Atlantic Ocean. It is on St Mary's, the main island of the group and has a 9.5 acre site where you will enjoy the friendly, relaxed atmosphere. This is a family run and orientated site and many campers return year after year, making new friendships and renewing old ones. The site layout ensures a degree of intimacy and privacy, whilst the abundance of birds, butterflies and wildlife guarantees to entertain and delight. Tents, trailer tents and folding campers are all welcome. Unfortunately, motorhomes, campervans and caravans are not allowed on the islands. There are 10 electric pitches which can be reserved in advance if required. It is an ideal location for Scouts, Guides, schools, field trips, sea-kayaking trips and large family groups. Dogs are welcome! Campers arrive on the islands via ferry from Penzance, or small aircraft from Land's End, Newquay or Exeter. The team will meet the ferry every day and offer a luggage transport service to and from the quay and campsite.
