Clear filters Brilliant stay!
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Amazing site! Can't fault it. One thing that could be added is a booklet on arrival with details of the food menus and what time everything opens and shuts.

Fab campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely site that has managed to keep the smaller site feel.
We enjoyed the pool, bar and several of the entertainment evenings. A couple of decent dog walking places and a restaurant that does take away. We were close to the new shower facilities which were regularly cleaned with large cubicles.
Would happily come back.

Great campsite
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Great campsite, good facilities. Staff were very friendly, nice shop and café onsite too. Would stay again.
Very nice holiday feel to the campsite, when the sun was out, it was like you're abroad. Toilets and showers are great but I think due to the amount of people on the campsite, there was quite often no toilet roll in the toilets and a little messy, maybe more toilet checks needed at busier times of the year, but this hasn't put us off and would stay again.

Extremely nice and well appointed site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Lovely site. Well situated for lots of beaches and far enough away to enjoy respite from crowds. Facilities are new and clean.
Able to eat on site and pool and games room are decent. Boardmasters' disruption is minimal and managed well.

Beautiful site to stay at
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 Beautiful site to stay at with all the facilities required for our stay. Everything was nice and clean. Thoroughly enjoyed staying there and all the staff were really nice and helpful.

Excellent
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 What an amazing holiday we had, this is one of the first campsites I have stayed at where the toilets/showers were clean and modern.
The pitch size for our tent was massive, we were able to fit our tent and and tarp 😊
To top it off, there was takeaway food you could order, or eat in the restaurant, and there was a great bar facility.
The only thing which could be improved on is if there was a bigger bar so there would be enough seats. When the restaurant gets busy stop serving people rather than just tell everyone there is a 30 minute wait. This wouldn't stop us from coming back though, we are planning to come back 2025, absolutely excellent site and super friendly staff. 😊

1st time campers
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2024 First time motorhoming round Cornwall so unsure what and where to go. The facilities were great and showers and toilets spotless. Couldn't fault it, good size heated pool and park for kids.
Overall, a very enjoyable stay.

Beautiful campsite
Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2024 Staff were very helpful and friendly. The site is immaculate. Lovely outdoor play park for all ages and the pool was lovely and clean. 100% recommend.

Lovely campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2024 Lovely campsite with all the facilities you need.
Would recommend great for families plenty of pitches and space even if you have a dog there is a field for dog walking. If you are looking to go to Newquay then it is accessible, I would say that it's not too far. Staff were lovely and very friendly and welcoming and let us on the pitch earlier than they said. Lovely pitches, some not fully level but it's grass and a field at the end of the day. Large campsite with facilities you need. Toilet blocks clean and tidy, and one very modern block.
You are slightly out of Newquay and if you are looking to be close by for daily trips, I would recommend looking elsewhere. We bent around 25 pegs and some rock pegs while setting up. It was good job we had extra, so just be aware that the ground has rocks in for drainage I am sure, but was a big issue and took a lot longer than we normally take to set up.
Wi-Fi, I wouldn't bother buying. We paid for one device, which was £10, so with a few devices this can get costly which wasn't great and didn't cover our pitch in areas. We got put on the bend of a pitch, so all cars passed us.
Would recommend but don't think we will be back next year.

Amazing site!
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We have been calling in previous places before but this was our first tent camping experience with our two children. They absolutely loved it! We can clearly see why they say it is an award winning site - it is fantastic and we'd love to return next year.
Both the pool and children's play area and the playfields are all perfect. Shop is fab and reasonably priced, which is nice to see as so many other places are happy to rip people off. We had some lovely breakfasts at the café - again reasonably priced. Would have liked to have tried the evening meals but didn't get chance.
All staff friendly and accommodating. Love the way each camping site is separated with the hedges for a bit of privacy. Toilets and showers were constantly cleaned so no issues there. Cleanest camping toilets/showers I had ever seen.
We would definitely have to remember to get an electric mini-fridge for next year.

Our stay
VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We stayed for 7 nights and thought it was a really great campsite.
The pitches are really spacious and separated by hedges for a bit of privacy. Our only issue was our pitch got no sun in the evening.
The toilet block was modern and kept very really clean. Our kids loved the swimming pool, really good size, warm and good number of sunbeds around it. Great little onsite shop selling essentials and ice creams and the added bakery van visits were a nice bonus too. Good playground for the kids and a reasonably priced cafe, if you wanted a break from cooking. The dog walking field at the top of the site was really great too (although a bit of a trek from our pitch right at the bottom)
All the staff we met were very friendly and approachable.
Overall a great campsite which we would definitely recommend to friends/family.

Dove 9 VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We're currently on our way home from our 8 nights at Treloy Touring Park. We arrived an hour early to the check in time and was allowed access to our pitch, which was extremely helpful after an 8 hour drive down. The site was a lovely little place, with great facilities and a lovely café were we ate our tea once and had breakfast on a few mornings - a proper home cooked brekkie as we would say.
The pitch was very spacious and we had more than enough room for the van awning and windbreaker, which was fab. The only downfall was that our pitch (Dove 9) was below others. Therefore when it rained, all the rain came streaming into our awning as we were in a slant. No matter what we did to stop this, it didn't work, as the pitch was slanted down slightly, which was very annoying.
We left the van at the site as the website states there is a bus stop 15 minutes down the road and we drove past this on the way in. We thought we had to walk the main road towards the bus stop, but this was extremely dangerous! It would have been helpful to have known about this on arrival and provided with taxi numbers and told that there is a safer walking route if you walk out the back of the campsite and round the back of another field. This would have helped us a lot and we only found out about this due to others telling us on the site.
The facilities were well kept and always clean and the morning quiet swim is a great idea. I think it would be useful for this at night as well, between 6pm and 8pm where there aren't 100 kids splashing around. The surf bar was great with a brilliant atmosphere with lots to do in different nights, from quizzes to bingo (which is always good when you win).
It would a place we would consider to staying again but would request for a higher pitch, that's all.
Regardless of where you are, you're always an hour away from different places, other than Newquay. Treloy is only 20 minutes on a bus to Newquay, which is helpful if you want to spend a week in just Newquay itself.

We're sorry you didn't like your pitch, some are gently sloped for drainage but we try our best to reallocate pitches if you're unhappy with it. The route to the bus stop is marked on the map you were given upon arrival to the site.

Absolutely loved it
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Perfect for camping with the family, amazing from start to finish, all the staff were so welcoming and friendly, the pitch size was just right for our huge tent.
The heated pool on site was lovely, I especially liked how it was a quite swim from 7 till 10am and then leisure from 10am onwards. The shower blocks and toilets were always being cleaned which I thought was brilliant.
The only thing I would say is that their are more washing machines and dryers needed, but I hear that's something being looked at for next year.
Everything you might forget is avaliable from shop on site (we did forget a few things) if you have electric pitch a mini fridge is definitely recommend.
Lovely dog walking field which leads to a long walk to Porth beach, 2 miles out. Also dogs are well behaved on site as their allowed on lead onsite, but off lead on the field.
Plenty of things for children to do onsite, big park area with swings and zip line plus a big playing field to play football, rounders, whatever they want .
I will definitely be going again.

Everyone was so nice, both the workers and other campers and I could not recommend it enough!
The cafe and the bar are excellent and the facilities are so clean.
