Excellent little site

Clean toilets and showers, great location, and a fabulous little shop with everything you may have forgotten! And best of all delicious homemade pizza on Saturday evening! Yummy!! Thanks for a great few days away xx

Great stay

Lovely tidy campsite ideal location, owners of campsite were very helpful and friendly. Pizza night was fantastic. Weather not so good, but no reflection on the campsite.

Beautiful area!

Great little family run campsite, level grass pitches, sanitary facilities basic but clean. A stone's throw from Clovelly village and lovely surrounding area to explore. Owners were readily available and present on site every day with routine cleaning etc. Wood fired oven pizzas on Saturday night, very good!

Fab little site

If I could give more than 5 stars for service I would. Karen was a great host, even taking us back to the campsite from clovelly. Such a lovely thing to do. Fresh pizzas on Saturday were a big hit. Honesty box in the little shop is a nice touch. We will definitely be returning.

Excellent site with two of the loveliest people you are likely to meet. Five stars from me, hopefully I will return this summer with family including grandchildren 👍🏻

Lovely little site

A lovely little site just a couple of miles away from Clovelly and a mile away from the Milky Way which suited us perfectly as we were attending a wedding there. The entrance to the site is quite tight if you have a larger motorhome. Ours is 9M but still managed to get through. Easy to find straight off of the A39. The pitches are a great size, only 2 showers though but very clean. The owners were very friendly and helpful and visited the site several times a day. A bit of road noise but that didn't affect our stay.

Convenient

Great that the owners provide transfers to / from Clovelly village.

Lovely peaceful weekend

Hostess was lovely. Really helpful. The site is ideally placed for exploring the Hartland and surrounding area.

Friendly owners and nice location

Met the famous Roey when arriving, who was friendly and kind. As was his wife, communication was great and they even helped us by towing us out the muddy grass when checking out. Location is great as we were able to cycle to Clovely. I wish the showers were free (even if they charged a bit more for the daily rate) as people rarely carry coins nowadays, but that is ok. I strongly recommend this place as the owners were very friendly and kind.

Walk to Clovelly

Spacious site within walking distance of Clovelly, toilets and showers clean. The owner is very friendly and helpful. The only drawback is it is next to main road so not very relaxing to sit during day, although at night it is quiet.

Okay if you like traffic noise

Sweet, clean, tidy little site. Unfortunately located right next to a fairly busy road. Showers cost extra.

Lovely stay

Lovely campsite, very jolly decor. Nicely stocked shop and a kettle where you can make a cup of tea/coffee.

Fantastic facilities, perfect location

Myself and a mate camped here. The facilities were excellent and really well looked after. The hosts were very responsive to text. Just down the road from North Devon Wake park and close to several great surfing beaches. 100% will be staying at Roey's again!

Stopover

Convenient location for us to stay for a one night stopover to catch up with friends who live in the area. All facilities available but basic, of which we have no complaints about, we are not fussy people. Quite a large site with ample space between pitches.

Great campsite close to Clovelly

Clean, easy access, close to the village and flat pitches. Really nice family running it!

Great campsite and service

Great campsite and great service when booking. Site is near road, so you do get road noise but you do get used to it.

Lovely short stay

Lovely two night stay, the field its self is well maintained and nice pitch sizes, so you aren't all close together. The camp was easy to find and is well located to get around to local attractions. The only downside was the closeness of the main road but if you don't mind a slight traffic noise. Facilities were good and very clean. We loved the little shop provided! It was ideal as we forgot our milk, it was well stocked and fairly priced. Love it 😁

Our stay

We had a lovely couple of nights at this campsite. Ideal if you want to visit Clovelly as it's a 20 minute walk. Owners were very friendly and helpful and we enjoyed a pizza on Saturday night cooked in the pizza oven to order. This is a very basic campsite but the toilets were clean and the showers lovely and warm and clean. Our pitch was a bit of a walk to the facilities but if you're looking for a basic friendly no nonsense campsite and value for money this is ideal. Small play area for children and very dog friendly. Take some £1 coins for the showers.

Memorable family camping experience

Really enjoyed our stay. A caring and friendly family run site with lots of facilities which made our first family camping experience a memorable experience. Thanks again.

Great site, very friendly owner

This is a great site with very helpful staff. The pizzas was great. The site has not changed in 23 years, only the showers are now £1 then it was 20p. Keep doing what you are doing.
