Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 We liked the location on the shore of the forth, the friendly staff, the food stand on the campsite and the landscape around.
When we were there, there was ample space during the day between tents for playing games.

Roof Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 I didn't get to stay this time as it was very windy - they phoned me to see if everything was OK as I didn't turn up which I thought was very good.
An average stay Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The site is situated in a beautiful place however, the toilets and shower areas are totally dirty. Not kept clean and most of the times, the tissues are out.

Lovely little campsite Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 Lovely little campsite, friendly atmosphere with some lovely views.
The facilities could be better, the showers and toilets are very dated and not overly clean, they would benefit from an upgrade. The children's play park was dated too, but many children's were on bikes riding around the site.
There's a little cabin on site that serves breakfast and dinner which was nice, and good value for money.

Great site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2025 The site is in a great location and allowed us to explore the local area - Loch Ness, Inverness, Cawdor Castle, Nairn beach etc.
We were there during Storm Floris and being right on the waters edge we were a bit nervy, but the hedge we were backed in to helped a lot.
Busy campsite with good facilities

Motorhome - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We only stayed the one night, we had our caravan and my mother had her motorhome.
We received a warm welcome, were promptly shown to our pitch and guided in with ease. The facilities on site are clean, and freely available.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We stayed for 2 nights with family, and really enjoyed it. The site was big enough that you weren't on top of one another.
It was ideally located from Beauly and Inverness city centre. There are lots of things to do in and around the area.
Camping near Inverness
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 It's a campsite that needs a little facelift.
Tucked away on the Moray on Firth ,near Culloden and Urquhart Castle (driving). Quiet spot with a food van and a well stocked camp shop.
Either drive or catch a taxi into the city.
For its location and ambience, it's worth a night or two.

Management good, shower block a bit dated but clean, and pitch was spacious. Shop, laundry, pot wash area onsite, and a playpark too. A busy campsite, but didn't feel overcrowded. We would book again.

Great weekend away!
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 We had a great stay at this site. Great location (close to Inverness city but with stunning views of the firth). We chose it as in theory we could have got their by public transport if car rental had fallen through. Good and clean facilities.
Everyone seemed friendly and the breakfast van was great. We were told we could place our tent anywhere as we booked a grass non electric tent pitch.
Convenient campsite for Loch ness
Motorhome - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 The site has s good infrastructure. Not new but convenient. A lot of space between cabins for tents and motorhomes. Friendly staff.

Very good site, but pitch allocation is adhoc
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 The site is very nice with plenty of facilities available and a gorgeous view of the sea bay.
Staff in the main office are very friendly, there is also a burger van on site which is run by a really decent fella.
The only downside was that there wasn't allocated pitches. So we had a tent and wanted electric, found a pitch but then our view was blocked by a selfish campervan, so we found ourselves surrounded by campervans with not much to see. I feel the site would be improved if there was allocated numbered pitches.
Other than that, really good site with a 10 minute drive to the city centre of Inverness. As a motorcycle rider, would highly recommend this site before starting the NC500.
