The name Trwyn yr Wylfa means 'watching point' - and the site is exactly what the name suggests! Set on ten acres of land surrounded by glorious sea and mountain views, it is a stunning spot for a relaxing getaway. Campers and tourers are welcome on grass and hardstanding pitches with the option of electric. Just a 15 minute walk from the beach and within Snowdonia National Park, it's the perfect base for exploring North Wales.

The location of the site was good as a base to get to Conway, Llandudno, Snowdonia and Anglesey. Site facilities were good with the usual shower/ toilets/washing up area etc but my biggest problem were the pitches themselves. They were on quite acute angles, so when set up everything slid , like tables etc. Not only that, I found it very difficult to sleep or even relax in a chair. For others info, please note that no music is allowed (only on headphones), dogs are not allowed to bark and the gates are locked at 11pm.

Lovely campsite with stunning views. Facilities are excellent and very clean. Staff were very helpful. We had a problem with pitching our tent as the ground was very hard, but they sorted us in no time. Even though the site seemed to be at full capacity, it never seemed over crowded. Ideal for families. Would highly recommend and hope to come again!

Wonderful views, great campsite. The beach is not next to the campsite (busy road in between that you can hear as well). Clean shower-blocks, friendly staff. Would go again.

Thank you to the staff for keeping the place so well maintained. Staff was really friendly and very helpful 🙂 Loved the location and the views from the top of the hill where we camped was incredible. Also had couple of family bathrooms, which was really good. I will definitely return again. Thank you 😊

We had such a lovely three nights stay at the Trwyn Yr Wylfa campsite. It is at a beautiful location with great view of the sea and the mountains. The site is very clean and well maintained with good facilities of toilets, shower, washing, laundry and fridge/freezer. Fairy Glyn is a pub where we had a lovely dinner. We enjoyed our visit to Snowdonia and Greenwood park which are within 20-25mins drive from the site and also the beach was fantastic for the kids. Urmila.

We arrived and were met at reception, the person was nice and conversational when giving us the instructions where to pitch our tent. The site was very spacious and very well manicured. The facilities were clean, tidy and well maintained. Will be back again.

What a great campsite! We arrived on the Friday to a very friendly welcome and an escort to our pitch. The pitch itself was very spacious and was very private! We had no problem making ourselves feel at home. The facilities on the Friday when we arrived were spotless, but by Sunday, they began to be very smelly and you could tell some people were not treating it like they would at their own home. I did see as we were leaving that there was someone checking the facility, so hopefully they would clean at that point! There was a dog shower, which was brilliant, and a massive field you could let the dogs off. All in all, it was a great location, beautiful views and a very family friendly site! Will definitely go back!

Great site, well maintained, nice facilities, friendly and attentive warden. Great views to the sea and fantastic sunsets over Puffin Island if you're lucky. A good pub in walking distance, with a large Tesco just 15 min drive away.

The views from the pitch was absolutely stunning. We were lucky enough to see sunsets. There is a bus that runs to Conwy and Llandudno, with the bus stop only a 10 minute walk away.

It's an absolutely amazing campsite. Showers and toilets very clean and convenient short drive to Conwy. You get a beautiful view of the sea. Definitely going to go again.

Great campsite! Good links to public transport with frequent service and very dog friendly! Read some reviews prior to booking around the site sloping and a hill from the facilities block. We were at the far end of the campsite with a flat pitch, and did not feel the slight slope to and from the facilities block was an issue, even though we were the furthest away. Thank you 😊

Very peaceful and quiet site, perfect for those looking to relax during their stay. Very spacious pitches and plenty of space around them too, not the usual of pitches crammed into any available space. The facilities are very clean but the showers are basic in the main toilet block. The additional showers and family/accessible showers are much better. This did not detract from a very enjoyable stay and would highly recommend. It's a perfect location for exploring all parts of North Wales, while isolated enough to relax without the usual tourist rush. Great views from all pitches due to the tiered layout of the site, although that does mean some pitches are a bit of a hike to the facilities and back. Drainage across the site was great so even though they are mostly grass pitches they drained really well even after a heavy downpour. Really friendly staff who clearly take pride in the site and what they do!

We were there to look after our relatives who were staying in Rhos-on-Sea. It was a shame they weren't allowed on site as they are in their late 80s and would have loved to sit by the tent. It would be great if you could look at your policy and even if there was a day charge, that would have been great.

Arrived here Monday first afternoon to a lovely welcome. Was shown our pitch and facilities, nothing was to much trouble, very polite. Stunning scenery, walks, runs and so close to the sea. Pets are welcome, which is a bonus. Facilities spotless, would definitely be arranging another camp, thanks guys.

Had a lovely stay here and had a brilliant pitch with beautiful views over the bay across to Anglesey and Puffin Island. We had loads of room as pitches are nicely spaced. The bathroom and kitchen facilities are nice and clean. We came with a dog and the addition of a dog walking field was useful. There are a few pubs and eateries within 15 minutes walking distance. Conwy is a 10 minute drive. Slight downside is the traffic noise from the A road, but didn't really mind and the upside was that we didn't have to squeeze down miles of country roads to get there. Overall, an excellent base for exploring North Wales.

Highly reccomend. Lovely laid out site, very spacious, lots of individual private areas for camping, not on top of each other at all. Nice facilities, loos and showers. Bit disappointing that the fridge was out of order though. Liked how it was a quiet site, no music, and dogs on short leads and kids under supervision at all times. P.S. best sunsets!

Impeccable campsite, stunning views, immaculate facilities, well connected & lovely owners Easily one of the best campsites we've ever stayed at! This site has breath-taking sunset views that were an absolute delight over dinner each evening. We were given the opportunity to pick our pitch upon arrival and were made to feel very welcome. The onsite facilities are very clean, functional and go above and beyond to cater for the needs of campers. Including phone charging lockers, washing machine and tumble dryer, hair dryer, 6 washing up skinks with hot water, fridges and freezers as well as shower and toilet blocks with additional accessible shower cabins facilitating families and those with disabilities. All the facilities are cleaned twice a day so are in immaculate condition. The owner went above and beyond to assist us when the hair dryer broke, disassembling it there and then and loading in a 20p for us to use for the inconvenience of the 5 minute wait! Also, letting us use the facilities that were closed for cleaning when we'd got back late from a hike! We can't recommend this site enough, we'll definitely be staying here again soon. Thank you for the lovely week :)

Great stay, very welcoming. Site was a bit steep in places and when cooking, the pans slide as the tent was on a slope. Wi-Fi was non-existent, which was very disappointing, but we loved our time there and will definitely be going back.
