Absolutely amazing location

We already can’t wait to come back, there’s so much to do locally that we couldn’t even get close in two days! A few people camp just to walk Snowdon but there’s so many great things to do under half an hours drive away. The cleanest and most respectful campsite we have ever been to - the pitches are huge! Also incredibly dog friendly. The enclosed dog field was a highlight for us! Thank you so much for having us.

Amazing!

Amazing 2 nights in the bell tent! Lovely clean facilities, and so peaceful just what was needed! The bell tent was beautiful and the bed was super comfy 😍

Amazing Camp site

amazing place and friendly professional site owners. Facilities are amaculate and the pitch was a great size. All areas of thw site ade well looked after and ammaculate even the dog walking area. will be staying again

10/10 Campsite, Highly Recommended

Lovely Campsite in a well kept yard and good location. Staff are lovely. Clean facilities and easy to navigate. Highly recommended.

Nice and clean

The place was spotless lovely and clean. 2 nights we stayed. Kids were a bit bored, no internet connection and 5g was very limited. Also, grass was getting cut 2nd night after 10pm. Kids were awake quite late with the noise.

Hi Barry, thanks for your feedback. Unfortunately, we don't offer WiFi, nor do we claim to, so I can only apologise if that was disappointing for you on arrival. Everything we do is aimed towards an audience interested in exploring the mountains and the beaches and our beautiful surroundings, so internet hasn't really featured in anything we do. Although I can see from your 3 star location rating that the area was not for you, so that's understandable. Campsites.co.uk offer a really informative list of FAQs on our listing, and I have worked hard with them to ensure is as helpful and as detailed as possible, and you'll see I have tried to list the mobile phone networks that tend to have the best signal/coverage in our area. I apologise if that misguided you. Having reviewed CCTV I can see our neighbouring farmers fields were being tended to, I can only sincerely apologise for that disruption and I will address that with the landowner. I can assure you we would never see to our own duties at that time of an evening. If you have any further feedback regarding the standard of service you received please do let us know, as that is something we work really hard to maintain at the highest standard possible, and we would hate any guest to receive anything less than the best customer service. Pristine site

Beautiful campsite extremely well looked after the toilet and shower facilities were immaculate and cleaned often through the day. Could not fault this site in any way highly recommend it.

Great time

we had a lovely time. Single mother with 3 children felt safe and relaxed. stayed in a bell tent which was ideal for a last minute get away

Lovely stay for Snowdon climb

Nice clean and tidy campsite, ideal for families, facilities all present and correct. Good base for Snowdon climb. You can take bus to pen y pass from the campsite but next time we'd probably use the park and ride due to frequency of buses from llanrug. Good size pitches.

Absolutely fantastic site

Wonderful, last minute find, 10 -15 mins from the llanberis path up to yr Wyddfa. Well looked after grounds and friendly owner. I know this area very well but never stayed here , safe to say I'll be returning .

Lovely campsite

A lovely campsite with very clean amenities. Showers and toilets always clean. The lady at reception was very helpful and polite. They have a dog wash area, which is brilliant. The field we were in was slightly sloped which was a little difficult in a tent is my only complaint. It does tell you this on their site though so it was expected on arrival. I would stay again. It's 30 minutes to Newborough Forest, which is where we wanted to explore. Co-op and fish and chip shop a 10 minute walk away, which was helpful.

Great site near to Llanberis

Stayed for one night before UTMB races in Llanberis. Really friendly welcome, clean facilities, big pitch for the tent

Snowdon visit family group

The only thing to moan about were the showers, maybe leave a spray and cloths as I appreciate the staff cannot clean after every person uses them. Lovely friendly site. Well looked after.

Amazing!

Really lovely campsite with all the facilities you need. We stayed in the bell tent and the tent was really clean and a nice size with really comfy beds and lights/fire pit/bench etc…. Also not far at all from the toilet and shower facilities. When we stayed we got stuck in Storm Dave and Matt and his son were quick to come down and check on us and ensuring the tent was all secure and ok in the extreme winds. We felt very looked after, would really recommend. Location is also great, close to shops and a pub and super close to Snowdon if you are looking to make the climb !! They even gave us wood for a fire pit! Would definitely go again if I was in the area.

Excellent stay

Second time we have stayed at this site now, always really enjoy ourselves, it is a lovely site with no faults at all. Clean facilities, spacious pitches, very accommodating, great staff, clean and tidy pitches. Walking distance to shops, as well as the lake and town being just a 10minute drive away! Will definitely be booking again in the summer hopefully.

Lovely quiet well kept site

This was our first stay at Twll Y Clawdd, the site looks brand new, well kept with modern clean facilities. The owners were friendly and very accommodating when we asked to add an extra night. Would definatley recommend and would return.
