Bike Ranch Snowdonia at Cae Gwyn Farm is a laid-back family and dog friendly campsite in Gwynedd with views of the Rhinog Mountains. There are just 30 non electric grass tent pitches for campers, as well as a pod, small campervan pitches and a converted barn for hire. About the site
A great spot for any outdoor enthusiast, whether you are a mountain biker or not! Set on a working sheep farm, conveniently located off the A470, you're a handy distance from all that the Eryri (Snowdonia) National Park has to offer, from picturesque mountain views to challenging trails! Campers can pitch up across three wildflower meadows with a relaxed pitching style allowing campers to choose where they wish to set up camp. 30 non electric pitches are suitable for tents only. Note that, to manage numbers, the site runs by the number of people onsite, rather than pitches, so there may be more or fewer than 30 pitches available. There are also pitches for campervans, a glamping pod and a converted Hayloft Barn for hire. The site offers guided mountain biking tours, no matter your ability, the guides will ensure you see the best bits of the trails. The guided rides start at the site and take you through some of the best trails in the area, Coed y Brenin Forest. There is also an exclusive jumps line offering courses with onsite partners and opportunities to gain biking qualifications. Please note that all guided rides, jumps courses or training needs to be prearranged before arrival. Even if you are not a biker, this site is a great spot for exploring the National Park, just 40 minutes from Yr Wyddfa and ten minutes from Llyn Trawsfynydd for watersports and fishing. Campfires and BBQs are allowed, so pack the marshmallows for nights spent with your friends and family listening to the crackle of the fire and the bleat of the neighbouring sheep. Dogs are also welcome to join you on your outdoor adventure, please ensure that they are kept on a lead and supervised at all times. Please note that dogs are not permitted in the facility buildings.

*Check in for camping and touring is from 2pm until 8pm. Check out is due before 11am. For the onsite accommodation check in is available from 4pm until 9pm and check out is due before 10am.
