About the site
A pretty family-run campsite set amongst nature, the site is a lovely place to reconnect and have fun with loved ones. The site is just 25 minutes from the charming city of Chester, with many wonderful attractions within easy reach. For those wanting to unwind in style, the site offers five luxury cedar pods. Each of the pods sleeps up to four, equipped with a double bed, a bed settee, heating, an ensuite with toiletries and a clothes rail for storage. For chilling out, there is a seating area with a smart TV and WiFi. You will also have a kitchenette that comes equipped with a fridge, kettle, toaster, microwave combi oven, two ring halogen hob and all the utensils, pots and pans you may require for cooking up a tasty meal. Outside of your pod, there will also be an outdoor seating area for al fresco dining, along with a Weber charcoal BBQ and your own private hot tub! The site offers both grass and hardstanding pitches, all with 16 amp electric hook up. Both tents and tourers are welcome. There are three fields to pitch in are called Woodpecker's Retreat, Water's Edge and The Warren. Some of these have pond views whilst others are surrounded by trees. Campers are also welcome to bring along a BBQ, just please ensure it is raised off the ground when in use. Please note, open fires and fire pits are prohibited. Dogs are welcome on the touring and camping park but not within the exclusive glamping area.
Shays Farm is open all year round in 2025 and 2026. Stay from £150/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Yes. Please ensure the BBQ remains on the patio. Under no circumstances should it be moved to the wooden decking outside the pod. Ashes are to be disposed of in the steel BBQ ash bin.

The site operates a quiet policy between 10:30pm and 8am.
