About the site
Located on the banks of the River Wyre, this family friendly park is surrounded by walking routes and cycling trails. Guests can enjoy fishing in one of the large onsite lakes or smaller ponds, with sandy beaches and the Lake District within a 35 minute drive! The site is home to four simple, unfurnished camping pods, each measuring 7.5ft x 9ft. Allowing up to two adults and one child, the pods include simple essentials like lighting, electric sockets and an electric heater. Outside, you will also find a handy picnic bench and spacious parking area. Do note, as the pods are unfurnished, guests will need to bring along their own beds, bedding and cooking/kitchen equipment. Shared toilet, shower and washing up facilities are also just a short walk away. Dogs can join you for your stay, with up to two canine companions allowed per pod. Evenings can be spent enjoying a BBQ, just please ensure they are only used on a safe surface and away from grassed areas. You can also purchase a BBQ from the site's reception. Please note, fire pits and chimineas are not allowed.

Absolutely! Guests can fish in either the large onsite lakes (Swanbrook) or the smaller ponds (Butterfly One and Two). These lakes house Mirror, Common, and Grass Carp, Tench, Perch, Roach, Rudd, Bream, and some Barbel and Chub. Fishing is also free of charge with all bookings.
