About the site
Located on the edge of the pretty village of Medbourne, the peaceful site offers guests the perfect opportunity to fully unwind in an unspoilt corner of Leicestershire countryside. Located in the heart of the country, it's a great middle point for meeting friends from all over the UK. Ten non electric grass pitches welcome both tents and campervans, measuring a spacious 6m x 5m. Each allows up to five guests with space to unwind. For those in need of electric, there are six grass pitches with a 16 amp hook up. These measure 2.7m x 5m, suitable for up to four guests in tents, trailer tents and campervans. If you want to leave the tent pegs at home, the site also offers a selection of glamping accommodations. There are four bell tents, with both 4m and 5m options, each sleeping up to four. The tents are set on a decked area, each with a double bed, two singles and soft furnishings. Outside is a picnic table and fire pit for nights in the open. For those wanting to treat themselves, opt for one of the two safari tents, aptly named 'It's Prosecco Time' and 'Gin and Bare It'. Step inside and you will find a spacious living area, a dining table, chairs, a double bedroom and a twin bedroom. There is also electric, a kettle and a mini fridge. To enjoy the most of your views, there is an outdoor veranda area with furniture, a picnic table and a fire pit for toasting marshmallows. Please note, guests will need to bring their own bedding and cooking equipment for the glamping units. All guests can also bring along their own BBQ, just please ensure it is raised from the ground. There is also a social, open air area with a communal fire pit which is free to use. Up to two dogs are welcome per pitch. Please note, the glamping units are pet free.
