About the site
This is a small, friendly site surrounded by peaceful countryside with a fantastic communal area. The quaint market town of Long Sutton is also just a five minute drive away for those looking to explore the local area! There are 16 grass pitches available, all with an optional 13 amp electric hook-up. They are a great place to set up camp, whether you have a tent, trailer-tent, caravan or motorhome. Alternatively, if you don't want to bring your tent, you can opt to stay in either a spacious safari bell tent or in one of the luxury railway wagons. These are all set up for four people with a double bed and two single beds, or bunk beds, in the railway wagons. The two safari bell tents also come with an electric heater, fairy lights, a hanging rail, a chest of drawers, a kettle and mugs and a covered outdoor picnic bench and prep area for al fresco dining. The two railway wagons have some added extras, including crockery, cutlery, a fire pit and an outdoor sheltered picnic table. If staying in any of the glamping units, you will need to bring bedding and towels with you, as these are not supplied. There is a communal lounge area with a pool table, sofas, a piano, communal fridges and plenty of games and books to borrow. A small on-site shop offers additional treats, essentials and gifts, and a gazebo-covered outdoor communal area provides a great place to sit and eat with friends. There are also a herd of guinea pigs for you to meet, feed and pet twice a day, every day, at no extra charge. As well as a small children's area, a tree den and a large fenced grassed area, which provides plenty of space for children to keep themselves occupied! Dogs are very welcome on site, but must be kept on leads at all times.
The site is open for May bank holiday weekends, May half term and between 25th July and 1st September.
