Happy Days Holiday Retreat is a small camping site set in the Lincolnshire countryside, in the resort of Woodhall Spa, just 30 minutes from the coast. There are two grass pitches for tents, caravans and motorhomes as well as two ready tents for those wanting to avoid the trouble of hammering in tent pegs. With lots to do nearby and Battle of Britain planes flying overhead, this is a great spot for nature and history lovers.

About the site
A peaceful family friendly campsite set in the Lincolnshire countryside midway between Lincoln and Skegness, 15 minutes from the Lincolnshire Wolds and half an hour from the coastline. There are two grass pitches available with or without electric suitable for tents, caravans or motorhomes. They're very spacious and surrounded by beautiful woodlands, each one taking up to six people. Additionally, there are two pre assembled ready tents for those looking to avoid the hassle of hammering in tent pegs. One is done in vintage style. Inside you'll find a day bed and trundle bed, a single bed, a single camp bed. All bedding and linen is provided but please bring your own towels. The other has two single beds, and a princess bed, car bed or a camp bed. Sleeping four in total. Inside there is also a lovely dining area and tea-making station with all crockery, cooking utensils and cutlery provided. A rural retreat for those looking to sit back and unwind in the countryside, you can often spot Battle of Britain planes flying overhead! Dogs are allowed onsite, but not in the ready tents. Campfires are allowed in the fire pits that you can hire onsite.
The ready tent and bell tent are available between May and September, the Shepherd's Hut from May until November. Touring pitches are available between April and November. Pitches from £20/night for 2 people.

A pre-erected canvas tent with three single beds (two can be placed together) and a camp bed. Linen and bedding provided. There is a dining area, crockery, cutlery, cooking utensils, induction hob and fire pit. Shared facilities. Sorry no dogs.
Shepherd's Hut
Max 4 people
Featuring a 4'6 double bed with a bed underneath for children. An oven, hob, drop down table with two stools, log burner and ensuite with shower. Sorry, no pets.
Bell Tent
Max 4 people
A 5m bell tent with two single beds and either a Cinderella's coach single bed, a car bed or a camp bed. Includes a kettle and induction hob, crockery and cutlery. Duvets and pillowcases are available. Shared facilities. Sorry, no dogs.

Max 2 people
Eliza Rose the vintage caravan sleeps two, with its own ensuite toilet, kitchen and dining areas. Comes with 2 single beds that can make a double, microwave, kettle, toaster, storage and cutlery. Outside you'll find two deck chairs.

For camping and touring stays, check in is between 1pm and 8pm and check out is before noon on your final day. For glamping check in is 4pm - 8pm, check out at 11am.
Is Happy Days Holiday Retreat dog-friendly?
Yes, dogs are welcome as long as they are kept on leads. Unfortunately no dogs are allowed in the onsite accommodation.
Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act and/or any of the following: Staffordshire bull terrier, American Staffordshire terrier, Rottweiler, any Mastiff or Tosa are not permitted.

BBQs and open fires are allowed as long as they are raised.
Does Happy Days Holiday Retreat allow group bookings?
The site caters for families and couples. therefore bookings of 2 or more units or over 4 adults are no accepted. No hen and stag parties.

Yes, although the ground can be hard so strong pegs are recommended!

There is space to park with the site allowing one car per pitch or any additional cars by prior agreement only.
