About the site
If you are searching for a peaceful waterside stay, surrounded by picturesque walking routes with enough onsite to keep the kids busy, this family park could be ideal. Set on the banks of Gare Loch, guests can enjoy watersports, access to indoor and outdoor play areas plus much more! There are a total of 19 fully serviced pitches onsite, each welcoming motorhomes and caravans. Measuring a spacious 9.5m x 5m, each comes with a 16 amp electric hook up, water tap and TV point, allowing up to six guests and chosen on arrival on a first come basis. If you want to grab a bite to eat, the onsite Castle Isle Bar and Restaurant offers up a range of tasty pub classics, burgers and pizza for lunch and dinner. There is also occasional live entertainment including live bands, quizzes and bingo, perfect for nights of family fun. The site has also previously won many awards including the Caravan Park of the Year by Prestige Awards and the LuxLife Awards. There is also a range of static caravans, some with wonderful views over the loch. The site covers 55 acres with approximately 500 pitches, consisting of holiday home ownership, residential and rental caravans. For a spot of al fresco cooking, raised BBQs are more than welcome, but campfires of any kind are prohibited. Four-legged friends are also more than welcome, with up to two dogs allowed per pitch and a dog shower for those muddy paws.
