Nestled in the Scottish Highlands in the quaint town of Burghead, this family and dog friendly site is great for those after a coastal and countryside retreat, with direct access to Burghead Beach and the woodland of Roseisle Country Park a ten minute drive away! There are a selection of electric grass pitches, measuring 6m x 6m, with access to 16 amp electric hook up. These are suitable for tents, single-axle caravans, campervans and motorhomes. Or, there are electric hardstanding touring pitches which measure 6m x 3m and are suitable for single-axle caravans, campervans and motorhomes. The site is also home to static caravans. Guests have access to the facilities of Silver Sands Holiday Park, which is a ten minute drive away. Here you can enjoy an indoor swimming pool, gym, play area, restaurant / bar and more! For those hoping to explore the local area, the historic Duffus Castle is just a ten minute drive while the sandy shores of Lossiemouth East Beach are a 20 minute drive away. Your pups are more than welcome to join you, with up to two dogs allowed per pitch! Sorry, open fires are not permitted, barbecues must be raised off the ground.

Small Tent - Electric Grass PitchesSep 2025

Stayed here in late September, whilst on a bike-packing trip to/from Grantown-on-Spey. Beautiful location right by the beach, facing west, so we had a spectacular sunset. Walking distance to the town of Burghead and right beside a coastal pinewood. Bathrooms were warm and very spacious. Showers nice and warm too. Donna arranged for us to leave our bikes secured in a small storage room, which was greatly appreciated. There aren't kitchen facilities for tent dwellers, but there's a stone bench under cover, and as I woke up before 0700 I was able to use a small table in the Laundry Room to prepare some breakfast and coffee before anyone else on site was awake and needing to clean clothes.

Site was lovely, toilets were spotless, lovely and peaceful

Just returned from a lovely stay at Burghead Camp Site. Location was lovely, beautiful big beach 1 min away, could walk to the local harbour, great bike rides from the site also. Site small so nice and quiet, toilets and showers cleaned daily. Lots to do within an hour's drive each way, we would definitely do a return trip ☺️
