About the site

This scenic park is set in 20 acres of sheltered parkland looking out over the Firth and towards the mountains and Ben Wyvis. Just ten minutes from the picturesque city of Inverness, there are also plenty of attractions nearby for days out. For tents, roof tents, trailer tents, campervans, caravans, motorhomes and RVs, there are 50 non electric and 65 electric grass pitches with 16 amp hook ups available. Pitches are unallocated, so you can pick the spot that best suits you! All of the pitches allow up to six guests, with plenty of space left for games and playing with the family. The site also enjoys direct access to a shingle beach, perfect for a little paddle. You can even hire bikes onsite and venture off on the surrounding routes. Tourers also have the option of ten hardstanding electric pitches. For glamping, the site offers a range of eco cabins and static caravans. For that traditional camping experience, the site allows raised BBQs and fire pits, great for evenings out in the open. Up to two dogs can also join you for your stay, so don't forget to pack their treats!

Guests will have access to a kids' play area with outdoor gym equipment, washing up areas and a laundry room with washers, tumble dryers and ironing boards. WiFi is available (free during reception open hours). At the reception, you can pick up tourist information and hire bikes for the day.

There is a small, well-stocked licensed shop for picking up essentials and groceries. A visiting catering van offers breakfast and evening meals during the high season and packed lunches by prior arrangement.

Within a ten minute drive, there is also an Aldi, Lidl, Co-op, The Food Warehouse and Farmfoods Ltd. Clachnaharry Inn is within a five minute drive for meals out.

Inverness is just a ten minute drive from the site, a hub for day trips. Its historic streets offer a fun Victorian market for you to browse, along with great shops, cafes and amazing boat trips from Dolphin Spirit Inverness, which takes you to go and spot dolphins, otters and seals in the wild.

Of course, a visit to Loch Ness (15 minutes) is a must. Stroll the shoreline and see if you can spot Nessy, or go to the Loch Ness Centre (25 minutes) and discover fascinating exhibitions all about the legend.

For learning about some local history, Beauly Priory is a 15 minute drive away. The ruins of the ancient church tell stories of monks, and the architectural features are a beautiful sight to behold.
