About the site
This peaceful family-run site is the perfect retreat for those looking to escape and revitalise in luxury whilst exploring nature. White Clover glamping pod sleeps up to six people with a king sized bed, two singles and a sofa bed with rich 350 thread count cotton linen. It has central heating, hot water and an ensuite complete with a toilet, shower, wash basin and mirror. The fully equipped kitchen includes a hob, oven, microwave, fridge freezer, wine fridge, crockery and cooking utensils. There is a comfortable living and dining area. WiFi is available throughout, and there is also an Echo Dot smart speaker as well as a Smart TV. Outside, you'll find a private patio complete with luxury outdoor seating, an outdoor cooking station and a wood-fired hot tub with beautiful panoramic countryside views. The Heather pod sleeps up to four across a separate double bedroom and a sofa bed, all with Egyptian cotton sheets. A stylish kitchen is equipped with a microwave, fridge, induction hob and all cooking utensils. You'll be spoilt with a shower room, complimentary toiletries, robes and slippers. Cosy up indoors with free WiFi and an indoor entertainment system. Outside, you'll find a patio with a hot tub and BBQ. There is a wide range of extras to choose from during your stay. Pre-order the mezze grazing platter or afternoon tea to enjoy right on your patio! You can even hire a pizza oven for the night, which includes a pizza kit for two delicious margarita pizzas. Owner Denise is an award-winning holistic therapist who you can book spa treatments with during your stay, including Gaia and Made for Life Organics massage treatments, facials and other wellness treatments. The site also has a sauna and cold dip tanks for the ultimate wellness retreat! Two small dogs, or one larger dog, are allowed in both pods.
Maycroft Retreat is open from 02/01 to 31/12 in 2025 and all year round in 2026. Stay from £195/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).
