Woodbatch Camping and Glamping is a small, family run site nestled in the Shropshire Hills, for tents and small campervans or stay in a glamping pod for two. A mile and a half from the market town of Bishop's Castle and conveniently placed for walks along Offa's Dyke and Long Mynd. Sit back and enjoy the scenery with fire bowls and picnic tables available at every pitch also start the mornings off right with a takeaway farmer's breakfast!

About the site
Take in the incredible scenery surrounding this small yet tranquil campsite within the Shropshire Hills. Enjoying easy access to Offa's Dyke, Long Mynd and the Kerry Ridgeway, there's ample choice for walking or cycling in the area. Stargazing is a real treat here too, as there's no light pollution! Tents and small campervans are welcome on the ten grass pitches, complete with fire bowls on each pitch and plenty of space for kids to play. Delicious farmer's breakfasts from the site are available to take away to your pitch too. Or enjoy an idyllic glamping escape in a fully insulated pod, made for two. Equipped with a king-sized bed, TV, fridge and kettle, and your own decking area with picnic table and BBQ. Sorry, no caravans or motorhomes. Well behaved dogs (max of two per pitch) are welcome if camping. Sorry, no dogs are allowed in the glamping pods.
Camping is available from the 19th April - 21st September. Glamping is available from 18th April - 20th September.

Camping Pod
Max 2 people
Locally made and fully insulated pod, equipped with a king sized bed and a decking area with rattan furniture. There is also a large BBQ, picnic table and fire bowl. Guests will need to bring cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery. Sorry, no dogs allowed.

What time is check-in and check out at Woodbatch Camping and Glamping?
Check-in is available between 4pm and 9pm, and until 9:30pm for those staying in the pod. Please advise the site if you are delayed. Check out is by noon on your final day.
Is Woodbatch Camping and Glamping dog-friendly?
Yes! Dogs are welcome on the non electric grass pitches, with a maximum of two. They must be kept on a lead and under close control at all times. Breeds and crossbreeds listed in the Dangerous Dogs Act are not permitted. Sorry, dogs are not allowed in the pods.
Does Woodbatch Camping and Glamping allow BBQs and campfires?
Yes. BBQs and campfires in fire pits are welcome onsite. You can also purchase logs, matches, and firelighters onsite.
Does Woodbatch Camping and Glamping have a quiet time or noise policy?
Please respect the site's quiet policy after 10:30pm. The site aims for guests to have a restful stay, so noisy radios or loud music are not allowed.
Does Woodbatch Camping and Glamping allow groups or pitches being booked together?
This site caters for families and couples, so group bookings are not allowed without prior agreement. Hen and stag parties are not permitted.
