Located just off the A40, the site makes an ideal base for exploring the surrounding area, including the Brecon Beacons National Park (Bannau Brycheiniog), just 20 minutes away. The site offers 15 hardstanding pitches with grass, each with an optional 10 amp electric hook up, water hook up, and chemical disposal point. Pitches are suitable for caravans, campervans, and motorhomes. Only a short ten minutes away is the Towy Valley Cycle Path, a great cycling path for all abilities. You'll find a range of popular attractions nearby, including Aberglasney Gardens just five minutes away, and the historic Carreg Cennen Castle, a 20 minute drive. For coastal views and a peaceful day by the sea, head to Llansteffan Beach, 30 minutes away. Dogs are welcome onsite, please ensure they are kept on their leads. BBQs are permitted. Sorry, open fires are prohibited here.

We only stayed the one night as a stopover on our way home. It was one of the very few in the area still open after the 31st October. Simon was very welcoming and gave us a thorough run down of what's on the site and gave us our own recycling bags etc. It had been raining for around 24hrs non-stop, it seemed, as we drove down through Wales so everywhere was squishy including parts of this site. However Simon put us on a hard standing which remained dry through out. Toilets and washing up area were fine. Following morning driving around Carmarthenshire showed just how much rain had come down within the area. Although on the A40, we didn't notice any significant noise in our van.

Simon made us feel very welcome and showed us around and let us pick our pitch. The site is only small, but makes for a peaceful stay. Due to being away from too much artificial light, the night sky was amazing. An added bonus to our stay! The site is off a main road, but it didn't bother us at all. So much fresh air we slept like logs! Thanks Simon 🙂
