About the site

Treat you and your four-legged friend to a glamping stay in the scenic Mid Wales countryside. Designed with dogs in mind, the site includes an enclosed garden, doggy play park, and even doggy welcome baskets with treats and tennis balls. The site is currently home to one glamping pod, sleeping two with a double bed and double sofa. Bedding, linen and towels are all provided. In the kitchen area, you will find a sink, induction hob, microwave, fridge, kettle and toaster. Essentials like pans, crockery, utensils, salt and pepper, ketchup, mayo, washing up liquid and hand soap are provided, along with a breakfast bar for dining. Other modern features include a smart TV, WiFi, USB sockets and a smart radiator. To the back of your pod, you will find a wet room with a toilet, hand basin and shower. Outside, in your gated garden, you will have a fire pit, seating area and a sheltered hot tub for unwinding. When you arrive, you will be treated with a welcome hamper including tea, coffee, milk, a loaf of bread, butter, jam and Welsh cakes (depending on availability), the perfect way to start off your trip. The pod allows up to three dogs to join you for your stay!

The pod has its own ensuite bathroom and kitchen, with access to free WiFi. A welcome basket is provided, with optional breakfast bundles, afternoon tea, fire pit treats or special celebration packs.

What a stunning location! Complete peace and quiet in rural Wales, it was glorious sitting in the hot tub with the beautiful view over the valley. Plus it was only about 20 mins to Aberystwyth which is a lovely seaside town with lots of places to eat and a fab beach to swim on…with dolphins! The pod itself was beautiful, really nicely done and Beth had thought of every convenience. We stayed with two adults, two children and two dogs. The fence around the pod was great for keeping both dogs and children in! The shower room was excellent, lovely shower with plenty of warm water. The kitchen had everything you need: fridge, double hob, microwave, kettle, toaster, utensils and cutlery. Beth even left a lovely welcome basket with bread, milk, butter, Welsh cakes and more. She couldn't have been more accommodating and was such a helpful host, before we arrived, and once we were there. We would love to stay again and we have already recommended it to friends and family. Top place to stay, particularly with dogs!

Had a lovely stay at Four Paws Glamping! The pod is stunning and has everything you could need. The owner even did a doggy hamper for our Labrador which he loved, as well as providing milk/ butter/ welsh cakes etc which were much appreciated. The pod is surrounded by a secure fence which is very convenient for allowing dogs to roam safely whilst enjoying the hot tub! We were very lucky to have amazing weather and observed some stunning sunsets from the hot tub! Will definitely look to return :)

A fabulous retreat in scenic Wales. We had the most lovely stay in a very clean and well maintained pod. The hostess was friendly and couldn't do enough to help us. The pod is private and very peaceful, the perfect place to stay if you want to get away from busy life, while being close to Aberystwyth for pubs, restaurants, shops, etc. The pod is completely fenced and caters to dogs so perfect for mischievous pups and we will definitely bring ours next time. Couldn't recommend enough.

Hi, I'm Beth, the person behind Four Paws Glamping. I live here on site with my noisy but lovable gang - Boo, Albus, Pickett, and Dougee (my four-legged team), as well as my mum Meg and my little girl. We're around most of the time to say hello, answer your questions, and help you make the most of your stay.

The idea for Four Paws started about five years ago, back when I was living in Bristol. I was ready for a change and had always dreamed of running a holiday spot where people - and their dogs - could truly relax. So, with that goal (and a few long dog walks in mind), we packed up and made the move to beautiful Aberystwyth.

My main aim has always been to create a space that offers both comfort and affordability, while being completely dog-friendly. As a dog owner myself, I know how tough it can be to find places that don't just allow dogs, but actually welcome them. That's why every part of this site has been designed with your dogs in mind.

Aberystwyth town is a 20 minute drive away, great for days by the seaside. You can explore the Victorian seafront and Royal Pier, paddle by the promenade, enjoy the arcade, or sample fish and chips.

For exploring the countryside, take the Vale of Rheidol Railway (20 minutes), a scenic steam train ride through wooded valleys.
