A brilliant experience start to finish

This was a returning visit to wild meadow camping with the first visit being many many years ago. The site is spotless with the best showers we have come across in any campsite. Can’t wait to return again, thank you

highly recommend this campsite - we had a lovely time camping here and would definitely be happy to stay here again! well-maintained area with all the necessary facilities for a comfortable camping holiday. great location with plenty of cool places to visit. loved seeing the wildflower meadow. andy was the loveliest host; he showed us around the site and told us about all the cool places nearby. thank you for having us!

Idyllic quiet site.

An idyllic quiet site with not too many pitches. There was a shepherd's hut and a cabin and 2 bell tents as well as pitches. Andy, the owner, came to meet us at the gate and give us info of all nice places to visit and good places to eat out. Showers and toilets were very clean. We will definitely revisit.

great site

we had a brilliant 5 night camping stay the facilities were excellent and very well kept Andy the owner was really helpful sharing lots of local knowledge. and tips. The site is well located for touring the coast and lovely coves and beaches nearby. It has plenty of space between pitches and facing the wild meadow makes it special.

Perfect escape!

This is a campsite that I want to visit again and again! We had lots of space for our tent, and because of the size of the site, you are never far from the toilets and showers! Talking of which, the washing facilities would rival hotels for cleanliness! They are checked/ cleaned at least twice a day. The site is in a very quiet location but also very close to shops etc and a great base to explore the local area and beyond! We are already planning our return next year!

Good location - it's a few minutes drive away from the nearest beach, town and pub but other than that it's a great place to stay.

Amazing site

We love this site, everything you need and nothing you don't. It's so peaceful and relaxing and our daughter loves the meadow. The minute I get to the site gate, it's like the stresses of daily life just get left behind. Andy and Lisa are fab hosts so knowledgeable, helpful and friendly. The shower and toilet block is definitely the best I have come across and is always scrupulously clean. We love it, it's a family favourite and will be for years to come!

Wild meadow

Having stayed here for 4 nights, we can't rate this site highly enough. The toilet and showers are spotless. The site itself is very clean and tidy with stunning views of the countryside and not far from beaches, and good size pitches. Andy was very welcoming and has a great knowledge of the area, which we found very helpful and would like to thank him for a lovely stay and will return.

Perfect

Not just a campsite, it is so much more, the pictures don't do it justice. We absolutely loved it. Andy and Lisa took care of us and made us feel very welcome and secure, giving us information of all the lovely places we can go visit. The hut was equipped with absolutely everything we needed, felt like home away from home, and my little boy had plenty to do and explore around the campsite as well. We enjoyed it so much that we decided to stay another day, definitely a place that we will come back to.

Perfect!

We absolutely loved this place, it was extremely well maintained, ultra clean and the facilities were perfect for the size of campsite. It was very secure for children to be playing around the campsite, and there's a lovely stream for them to play in. The meadow is beautiful to look out on and is perfectly kept. Andy was a super host and couldn't have been more helpful. We will definitely be returning. 🏕️

A warm welcome and beautiful setting for a short holiday

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in the beautifully renovated shepherd's hut. We would like to go back when the wild flowers are out in the summer, but loved seeing all the wildlife along the stream bank and the daffodils outside the hut. Thanks for a lovely holiday!
