Lovely Site

Beautiful location, roughly 30 minutes stroll to the beach. Lovely dog friendly pub less than 10 mins walk plus a shady wooded walk next to a river. Toilet/shower block very clean and friendly owners. The site is not too big, has a view of the sea and is very dog and children friendly. We will be back!

A few minutes from the beach

A quiet, peaceful place to stay with a view of the sea. I booked and paid for 3 nights and went out during the day. My pitch wasn't saved so I had to squeeze in between 2 others where I was advised to park on arrival. I also had to pay for a shower on top of the site fees. £20 per person per night with no electric in peak season on a slight slope may not be for everyone, but I enjoyed my peaceful stay even if I did have to move stay.

Lovely site in great location

Great location, friendly owner. Facilities nice - modern, clean and fully functional. Shaded woods nearby which was crucial for our dog's walk in the heatwave. Only dropped one star because of hiccups with our electric hook up. We lost food in the fridge because of the power going off. We wouldn't stay in school holidays as the site is a huge field which became overrun with children from Friday night, through to our leaving Saturday. That's not a complaint as the children weren't doing anything wrong, and it's nice to see children playing outdoors, but it completely changed our experience of the site.

Beautiful views

Bathrooms and showers were always clean, family friendly, easy to find, beautiful views. Big pitches, plenty of room for kids to run around. Will definitely be back.

Perfect

We’ve just returned home from a fantastic week camping with electric hook up. We received a warm welcome to the site on checking in at the farmhouse & then most importantly the site is flat 🙌 It’s reasonably priced, you do have to pay for the showers £1 for 6 mins. The toilets & showers & washing up area are kept very clean & the whole site has a relaxed atmosphere. It has a beautiful outlook with mountains behind & ahead the lovely sea views, we will definitely be returning.

Very good site in convenient position for exploring the Harlech and Barmouth area

Well-kept site between Barmouth and Harlech. Bus stop and small train station within easy walking distance. Quiet camping as the site is set well back from the road.

Basic campsite but everything we needed for an overnight stay. Lovely clean toilets and showers. 10 minute drive into Barmouth

Gorgeous little gem close to everything

Lovely pitches, quiet site with clean facilities and good showers! Close to the beach and also close to woodland and mountains! Loved it!!!

Basic but would recommend

Basic but functional campsite, lots of space for a camper van/tent and the pitches were a very generous size so you did not feel cramped. Facilities were clean although the £1 charge per shower was unexpected (but to be fair, the showers were clean and hot). Lovely pub within a 5 min walk from the site, would recommend.

Very nice site

Very nice site on a level grass field surrounded by dry stone walls with sea glimpses. The grass is kept short so no wet shoes and the Facilities are excellent and spotlessly clean.

Wonderful location

We had an amazing 2 nights with electric hook up and wonderful view to the sea. Shower facilities pristine. Direct access to a woodland and stream walk was a real bonus for an off lead stroll with our dog. A pub and beach are an easy walk within 10-15 mins.

What a shame we only stayed for one night! Such a lovely site! Absolutely spotless and everything you need, all on a working farm. Lovely hosts and amazing location. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back! Thank you!

Nice site

Nice site good facilities. All grass, no hard standing, but reasonably level. Great views of the sea. Long gravel entrance I found difficult to navigate on my bike. Did not receive any of the normal information sheet on arrival, no soap to wash hands, but otherwise, a good place.

Can’t fault the campsite at all. Perfect location walking distance to the beach and most importantly a lovely pub. Shower and toilet facilities were nice and clean will definitely be returning

Absolute great site *****

Very very nice site one of my 1st camping on my own in my van, lady came from the farm house when i arrived and walked me to my pitch asked if i needed anything and then talked me through the facilities on site. She also gave me some directions for a nice walk and the local pub is literally 5 mins walk through a little forest with lovely waterfalls. I will definitely be keeping this site the top of my list and i will be going back. Thank you for my stay Natalie & Bailey (the dog)

Great Site

This wonderful site is a little hidden gem on the wales coast. We had a short stay in our motor home and only due to weather didn’t stay longer, the facilities are second to non with probably one of the most modern and clean toilet and shower blocks we have come across. There is waste and water facilities with lovely clean kitchen for washing up. Its a short 10 min walk to the local pub which has seating both inside and out and is dog friendly. Not far from the end of the lane is the bus stop with hourly services into Barmouth and up the coast and just a little further to the train station if you want to venture further afield. If your looking at this area this is a definite must :)

Great little site

Arrived and welcome by the owners, made sure we were happy with our pitches. Told us where the train and bus ran from. In formed us of the local pub. Toilets and showers were spotless. Easily accessible Epson point. Definitely will be back. Great sea view.

Fabulous campsite

Absolutely love this site. 10 minutes to Talybont station where you can catch a train to practically anywhere. Pub 5 minutes away serving delicious food. Toilets and showers are immaculate. We took our fire pit and wood so had a lovely evening watching the sunset. Even storm Dave didn't spoil our Easter weekend. Thank you. We'll be back.

Peaceful and spacious

Very clean and new facilities. I think paying for the showers isn't great, as we didn't have any coins with. The sea view is quite far away, but a great camping field and a 20 minute walk to a very large beach. Pub is just a 7 minute walk away, but doesn't open until 4pm and food at 5pm.
