About the site
Set in the shadows of Cader Idris, this relaxed and laidback site is the ideal base for Snowdonia National Park. It's just one mile from the market town of Dolgellau (five minutes), plus easy access to many attractions and activities on its doorstep! Welcoming tents, trailer tents, roof tents, caravans and motorhomes, the site has a range of grass and hardstanding pitches. Most pitches come with 14 amp electric as standard, and the rest have optional hook ups. For groups and larger families, there are three 7m x 18m grass pitches with a 10 amp electric hook up for tents and roof tents. The site also offers electric hardstanding pitches with 14 amp electric hook up and water hook up. An exclusive six bedroom bunkhouse is also available onsite to hire. The site is spread across three camping and touring fields, comprising of the main field which is a short walk from the central car park, the lake field (as the name suggests!) and the ledges field which is better suited to tents due to steep access, and slightly further from facilities than the other fields. Dogs are welcome to join you, with up to two per pitch. However, the large electric grass pitches accommodate up to four dogs!
Torrent Walk Campsite and Bunkhouse is open all year round in 2025 and 2026. Pitches from £20/night for 2 people.
