About the site

This independent and family-run camping and glamping site in the stunning Warwickshire countryside is the ideal place to relax in tranquil surroundings. Situated within 45 minutes of both Birmingham and Leicester, this is a great location for days out exploring the city. The intimate site offers 20 pitches to suit a quiet getaway with friends or family. Each of the grass pitches measures 8m x 8m and comes with an electric hook up welcoming both tents and tourers. If you're feeling something a little fancier, there are a range of glamping options available including chic bell tents, stylish tipis and luxury pods. Groups of up to five can stay in one of the six bell tents which come equipped with a double bed, three single beds, cosy furnishings, electric and fairy lights. Outside you can also find a fire pit and logs, perfect for a night of roasting marshmallows under the stars. If you're looking for a little more privacy, then opt for one of the two tipis which are tucked away from the main campsite. Sleeping up to four, the tipis include a double bed, two single beds, electric, a wood-burning stove and stylish furnishings. Outside you will also find your own dedicated detached kitchen with all appliances, a fire pit and a hot tub, ideal for unwinding after your journey! For a truly luxurious stay, book a stay in one of the glamping pods with private hot tubs and fantastic views. One pod sleeps up to five and features two bedrooms, one with a double bed and one with two single beds, an ensuite shower room, an open plan living space with a sofa bed, TV, dining area and a fully equipped fitted kitchen. Three of the pods sleep up to four people. Each has two separate bedrooms with one double and two singles, a kitchen area, living space as well as an ensuite shower room. All pods also come with their own decking area featuring the hot tub and outdoor table and chairs, perfect for al fresco dining. Dogs are welcome with campers and in the glamping units except for the pods.

Camping, touring and tipis are open April to October, bell tents from April until September. The pods are available all year round. Stay from £155/night for 2 people (2-night minimum).

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025

Lovely site, staff and area! Farm pub great and entertainment brill. Just very noisy when it's meant to be quiet time. Loud music banging out at 11:30 last night, adults shouting. Quiet time 9:30pm. I know people away enjoying themselves but music blaring until 11:30 ish is a bit disrespectful to other campers.

Thanks for the overall positive review :-) That is a shame to hear about other customers. We are taking extra measures to encourage people to be quiet at night, including extra warden checks. We do advise people to get in touch with us if they are being disturbed during their stay so we can resolve there and then. Thanks again!

Very noisy site

For what we want to get out of camping, this is the worst site we've stayed on. The main problem is that the site owners aren't honest about what sort of site it is. We went as a group of 3 families with 4 children under 7 but the site is definitely aimed at adults and teenagers. Despite the campsite rules saying that there mustn't be noise after nightfall, the onsite pub and a lot of other camper continued to play loud music until midnight. I tried contacting the warden on the supplied phone number but didn't even receive a response. I get that some people want to party when they go camping but I'd researched the site before going and there was no mention that this is what the site was aimed at. I even read a review response from the site owners saying that that element was separate and at the pop up pub but that was only a few metres away, so the noise quite obviously carried throughout the site! I would not recommend this site to families with children under 10. The pitches were also very close together - the site even wedged in an extra tent next to us which wasn't on the site map?! On the plus side, if you're interested in loud music whilst camping, the toilet and shower facilities were good and clean. The surrounding countryside was also nice. There's a nearby ice cream cafe called Dreamy Cow which was well worth a visit.

Hi Jo Many thanks for the feedback. We try to make the campsite suitable for all but recognise it is hard to please everyone. With our onsite play area (which we are not advertising) and football pitch, plus wooded areas, the farm is an amazing place for children (and we have incredible feedback). The concept of the farm pub - which people love - is to keep noise away from the campsite (i.e. groups of friends). The live music ends at 10pm and then we turn it down. The Farm Pub is some distance away from the campsite (>100m) but can be heard from the campsite subject to the act playing. Often it's just faint background music. Steps we are going to take: 1.) Remind campsite guests of the noise rules: we do state this in our information packs and rules next to reception already but can repeat. 2.) Ask our warden to do more checks 3.) From this weekend we will have 2 additional wardens onsite so we will ask them to conduct site walks in the evening to make sure the rules are being followed Thanks again for the feedback and sorry again that it wasn't right for you.

Great campsite if you want more than your standard camping experience. Facilities are amazing as you get proper toilets and showers with hair dryers and mirrors. Great areas for kids. The pitches are well sized and signed posted and great signage around the site. Bonus of a bar and pop up pub and food stalls. But because of all these extras, you then get a lot of noise, music and drunken shouting at 3am. Every night there were mini parties around the camp site. Didn't appear to be a curfew or anyone patrolling. Overall, a great campsite if your looking for more of a "party/social" campsite, not great for those who value sleep and have activities planned. Would still return but for a different camping experience!

Hi Samantha, many thanks for the great review. Regarding the "party/social" aspect - this is not something we want the campsite area itself to be and is why we have a noise curfew at 9pm, and is why we have the farm pub etc as a place to go and make noise without disturbing guests. Thanks for the feedback as we will implement more regular warden checks (we do have a warden who stays overnight). Thanks!
