A small touring park with downland views, just two miles from the Sandown and Shanklin towns and beaches. At Old Barn Touring Park you'll find spacious grass pitches which have hard road access and electric hook-ups. The 17th century listed barn at this family run park is used as a games room with pool, air hockey and table tennis. Minutes from site is a bus that'll take you to Ryde, dogs are welcome onsite.

I love to camp and must say this is one of the better sites I've stayed at. The pitch was a great size and the facilities were basic, but just what you need. Despite the site being relatively full, there was never a queue for the facilities. All in one central location, there were separate washing up facilities, separate access to drinking water, toilets and cubicled sinks for the morning teeth and hair brushing. There was a small play park, conveniently placed in a central area and adjacent the facilities. The staff were very helpful and friendly and were always around the site, so easily accessible if required. The site was in a great location for a walk to the supermarket, local pub and was just a 30min walk / short bus journey to Sandown Beach. (I gave: four stars, not five for location as the walk to the bus stop is a rocky path and not suitable for all users. Four stars, not five for the facilities as the showers were 20p and we had to get change and four stars, not five for cleanliness as the door to the toilet was left open overnight and I am not a fan of the moths that had gathered in the toilet block). Would highly recommend and will visit again.

My wife and I recently stayed at this beautiful campsite, and we couldn’t be happier with the experience. The location was absolutely stunning, providing a peaceful and serene escape. The weather was perfect during our stay, and the temperature inside our pod was just right, allowing us to sleep soundly without the need for heating. The shower was great too, hot water with only about 20 pence to operate it, which made it incredibly convenient. The toilets were clean and functional, and the instructions for check-in were clear, making the whole process seamless. Overall, we had a fantastic time and highly recommend this campsite for anyone looking for a relaxing and comfortable glamping experience. We’ll definitely be returning!

All in all its a perfect place to stay for the middle age /elderly. Walk to Morrison's or Aldi, no 8 bus into Sandown, short drive to zoo and other attractions. Happy days xx

Great place open in October. Needed for one night. Very quiet. Shower worked well and was 20p. Wi-Fi great. Hook up. Yeah it's a bit run down in places but who cares. It does the job. No complaints.

This was our very first time using a campervan and visiting a site of this type. A very good site, which welcomed our two dogs. It had great sized plots, which were easily identified. The person at the reception desk was very kind and helpful, as this was our first camping experience. Would recommend this site, it was very clean and well looked after.

Lovely campsite, clean and tidy. Staff are friendly. This location was perfect for us and the campsite was lovely and clean. The plot was easy to access and navigate around. The welcome was lovely.

This site is fantastic and I'm disappointed I've never been and used it before. Ideally located for lots of island attractions and amenities. Friendly staff team who were most accommodating. Next time we head to the island, we will definitely be booking a pitch here again.

Came here for a weekend getaway. Was a lovely, quiet park. Where we stayed, we had a bush separating us from others and it was lovely to have that bit of privacy! Would 100% recommend, easy to find and a great location to get anywhere. Thank you!

Small, tidy site near to town. Pitches divided up by hedges which gives good privacy. Near to noisy road with bus stop outside site. Facilities adequate but could do with modernising.

The owners were very friendly and welcoming. The site is well kept, the shower block and washing up area's were clean and basic. The pitch was roomy and well kept secluded by hedges. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay, just a pity the weather was not kinder to us.

Nice location, easy access to facilities like shower and WC, clean and refurbished (the ladies at least). Easy to find and park. Just be aware that in order to have electricity, you need to have a special cable. We didn't, so we hired for £5.
