Absolutely fabulous campsite. Really enjoyed our time there. Showers were the best campsite showers I’ve ever used. Toilets were immaculately clean. Staff were friendly and super-helpful. Shop and brand new cafe were brilliant. Thank you Beltonville: we will be back.
Lovely site, will stay again!

We went as a group of 7 and had a fantastic time. The site is lovely, well maintained, clean and quiet. Showers are good pressure and hot. The cakes from the cafe are delicious and the farm shop is handy to get additional basics such as bread and bacon. We were able to walk from the site over to millers Dale village and along the River Wye, picking up the Monsal Trail. Other villages are a very short dive away all giving easy access to Monsal Trail and footpaths all around. The site has chickens (free to roam) and goats around with cows just over the wall who occasionally come to say hello. We all said we would happily come back to stay again as we enjoyed it so much. :)

We've just come home from 3 nights away at Beltonville. Right from the initial booking to arriving and the duration of our stay, every staff member has been amazing. They just opened their new café on site whilst we were there and we were lucky enough to sample the menu... absolutely delicious breakfast, the staff were attentive, polite and meticulous - we could tell there had been so much effort put into the opening of the café and the site. We stayed in the top field, love how we can pick our own pitch. You can also hire firepits and buy logs from the onsite shop. The facilities are cleaned throughout the day and never without toilet roll and soap. They do have everything you need so no need to pack the kitchen sink haha. We are definitely coming back here it was a delight talking to the owners and hearing their plans for the site moving forward and all the hard work and effort they've put in it clearly shows. The location is great for walks and few local pubs, we had a lovely meal at the Anglers Rest.

Firstly welcomed by a lovely lady who made me and my friend really welcome, as this was our first trip away together. The field was huge and the views were amazing from the campsite. Endless footpaths nearby with a 20 min walk to the Monsal trail, where you can find hours of lovely footpaths. Facilities were spotless, cleaned daily and it was a lovely place to stay. Fully recommend.

Really hot and powerful showers. Good clean toilet blocks, separate male and female which were cleaned every morning. Washing up facilities and rubbish disposal. Some of the ground was quite hard to peg in. Choice of a higher or lower field. The site was quite windy. Very quiet at night.
Great weekend place

Very warm welcome on arrival, check in is in the well stocked farm shop. Lots of useful information was given to us including a map for the Monsal trail, which is a 15 minute walk away. Site is on 2 grass fields & you can pitch where you like, it is on the side of a hill so a little uneven but as you choose where to pitch, there are no probs. The toilets & showers were clean & well stocked. The showers were really hot & powerful. Very friendly place to stay.
Great campsite for groups of friends with or without kids

The site was clean and tidy, with friendly and helpful staff. We stayed on the higher field, which turned out to be very windy this weekend, some tents were damaged. Make sure you put your tent pegs in at an angle and don't place the entrance facing the wind! Facilities were basic, but clean. Careful on the loose gravel there, easy to slip. Beautiful walk by the river, no need to drive for a walk! Love sitting by a fire at the end of the day.

A nice time, although the first night was a bit noisy but only by one tent in particular. The scenery at the campsite was gorgeous with the best showers I have had in years! Steaming hot and full force!! I really wanted a cup of tea and the shop was shut, but the owner went out of her way to open up and let me me purchase a cuppa. As this was my first time camping, it was harder, but if you are experienced then maybe one night of noise is a breeze in the park.
Pleasant midweek stay, busier at weekend

A peaceful stay in the week, but got busier and louder towards the weekend so that's worth bearing in mind if you want a quiet stay. Location was great, the Monsal Trail was about a mile walk away down a trail the other side of the road, across the river and up the other side. Also accessible via Millers Dale, which is signposted from the campsite. On-site shop was good and was being renovated so will be even better soon I imagine. Women's toilets were nice but men's were a bit cramped. I imagine facilities would get very crowded during school holidays/weekends. No recycling points which was a shame and I hope some get added soon. Overall, a pleasant stay :)

Really great location and staff couldn't be more helpful. Lots of cute animals like chickens, goats and sheep to watch from the pitch and the views are outstanding. Facilities were sparkling, although always had a queue so could probably do with 3/4 more showers as there were only 4. The on site shop is great too and has more than just essentials.

I have stayed on a number of campsites in the Peaks and this is a good one considering the price. It is essentially two fields with nice views. The top field felt exposed on windy days, but the smaller bottom field less so. I arrived at a busy time and initially struggled to find a level pitch but eventually squeezed myself in to a suitable spot. I imagine at less busy times this would not be an issue. The owners and staff are really relaxed and friendly. There is a well-stocked farm shop on site and the facilities are clean. The fact you can have a fire is a fantastic bonus, and there is a never ending supply of logs from the farm. My only gripe would be the washing up facilities, where the hot water constantly ran out and the sinks are low, putting a lot of strain on your back if you're over 5' 6". However, the showers are fantastic. Really powerful, spacious and hot. I would happily stay here again!

Good site with good toliets and showers. Lovely goats and chickens too, and a huge amount of space. Good farm shop. The walking access is up a steep road. We haven't been here before so don't know the area, but the site was loud with music and kids and a lot of loud singing and rave style music. I know this would be fine for people with families but as we are just a couple, it was a bit much for us. I would recommend here for families and groups as seemed to be a few large groups who were having fun, but we like to go walking then relax.
Beautiful and peaceful

We really loved our short break here... such gorgeous views from every direction, good facilities, helpful & friendly staff. Super location for family walks & cycle rides. It was very quiet & peaceful while we were there, max 20 families, so it may feel a lot busier and possibly a little crowded when fully booked. Kids loved the farm animals and there's a well stocked shop. We all loved the hire of the fire pit. Will definitely recommend & hopefully return soon :)
