About the site


Nestled in the countryside, but right by the sea, this site offers electric pitches for motorhomes and well maintained pitches for campers too. If you fancy a glamping break, there are a set of cosy pods that are sure to take your fancy. Packed with insulation to keep you toasty, you can take in stunning sunsets from these and enjoy comfortable beds, with a heater and electric provided. These are a great choice for families - just remember to bring your bedding with you! Ideal for a couple is the Caban Hendre shepherd's hut which is full of charm. You'll have a double bed and comfy sofa bed, plus the cosy warmth of a log burner and it's the perfect glam base in the country.

Site facilities shared between campers and glampers include toilets and showers (20p). There is a wash house with hot water for washing up, a washing machine, a tumble dryer and a communal fridge for guests.

There is also a farm shop that stocks lots of Welsh produce, including daily fresh bread, local eggs, milk and more. Guests can also buy goat food from the shop to feed the onsite Pygmy goats.

There is a private path from Hendre Hall down to the beach, which is a 5 minute walk away.

For short stay tourers and camping.

Full payment to be made on arrival, before pitching up or entering the campsite.

Family or friends visiting shall be charged £4 per adult and £2 per child per day. They must vacate the site by 9pm.

Admission is at our discretion.

No refunds unless cancellations are made prior to 14 days before arrival

Booking fee is non-refundable

Customers must raise any issues or complaints with management within the duration of their stay and must also be present on site to discuss and highlight the issues. Failure to do this or give management the opportunity to rectify any issues, will invalidate any claim with regards to a refund.

No alcohol to be consumed by under 18's in any circumstances.

No noise after 10pm or before 7am.

Dog's to be kept on leads at all times, unless otherwise agreed, and dog litter to be collected immediately and disposed of appropriately.

Unless all of the above are adhered to at all times, we reserve the right to evict personnel/parties off the premises at short notice and at any point within any 24hr window.


Things to do on site and in the Llwyngwril area

The Snowdonia National Park has simply limitless opportunities for gorgeous walks, mountain biking, swimming and fishing.

Live the nostalgic beauty of yesterday with a trip on the Fairbourne Steam Railway. It's very easy to access from your base, hopping you off to visit plenty of tasty restaurants and great shops.

You could also use the train to steam your way over to Barmouth. Once there, you can't beat a proper seaside experience with an enormous knickerbocker glory, and then your best attempt at catching crab along the town's pretty harbour.
