Clear filters A welcoming and well-maintained stay VW-Type Campervan - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Jul 2025 We arrived on Friday afternoon and were immediately greeted by a lovely member of staff. He took the time to thoroughly explain the local area, offering some excellent recommendations for how to best spend our time.
Upon reaching our assigned bay, we realised it wasn't quite suitable for some of our equipment. However, the staff promptly found us another available bay which turned out to be perfect for our needs.
The washroom facilities, though not modern, were exceptionally clean. We also appreciated the secure feel of the campsite, reinforced by the knowledge that the main doors closed nightly at 11 pm to regulate vehicle traffic.
Great and thoughtful campsite
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 This is a lovely site with plenty of character and all the facilities you need, which are very clean and well looked after. Some of the camping pitches have the benefit of being enclosed, so you have some private space while still feeling like part of the community on the site. The owners very kindly switched our pitch to one of the enclosed spaces at our request, and this is typical of the very friendly and helpful service from all staff over the week we stayed.
The site is really well placed for exploring Cornwall. It's very handy for the Eden Project and Lost Gardens of Heligan and we had leisurely day trips further afield to Tintagel, Port Isaac and Lizard Point. There are also brilliant local walks along the coastal path, the lively Carlyon Bay beach a short walk from the site and some great restaurants in nearby Charlestown. The campsite offers good hot food too for breakfast and dinner.
The only downside is the traffic noise at night / morning from the local road, including some loud racing motorbikes on a couple of nights. Nothing the campsite can do about that of course, and it's worth wearing ear plugs to enjoy the benefits of this great and well thought out campsite.

Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2025 Beautiful site with friendly, helpful staff. Great little shop serving awesome coffee.
The pitches are spacious, feeling peaceful, and with great views of the sunset. Facilities are always spotlessly clean.
This is my second visit. I always stay here if attending a gig in the Eden Project.
Would thoroughly recommend.

The staff is very lovely, friendly and welcoming.
Facilities spotless clean. Beautifully maintained and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. It's obviously run with care and love.

Lovely site
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 This is a lovely well kept site. We had a large pitch with bushes for screening which provided some privacy. Toilets and showers were cleaned regularly.
The wardens are lovely people, very friendly and helpful - nothing was too much trouble, even delivering our delicious pizza from the Shack on a rainy evening.

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 We had a wonderful few nights at East Crinnis.
The staff were great - really friendly and helpful. The pitches were generous in size and had a degree of privacy. We enjoyed the pizzas on site and the breakfast baps on our last morning! I would add that there was a lack of charging points but we had rechargeable battery packs so it wasn't a huge issue. We'd love to come back another time :)

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 What a great site this is, all pitches are large and private, the shower & toilet facilities are kept very clean, the site team are extremely helpful and the location of the site is great for the beach and nearby attractions.
We stayed for 4 nights in a campervan, was met on arrival by Raol who gave us a very warm welcome, showed us to our pitch and gave us plenty of info re the site and local attractions.
We visited the Eden Project by bus (the bus stop is about 15 min walk from the site), walked to the nearby beach (25 mins) which has food and drink vendors on the beach, caught a bus to get to Polkerris beach which is a gem - lovely little sheltered bay with a great pub and restaurant, and drove to Mevagissey and other local sites. All excellent days out, and great to come back to the lovely laid back site.
There is a shop on site and hot food is available. Can't recommend this site enough - if you're planning on visiting this area, stay here!

No issues to speak of, would recommend.

VW-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Jun 2025 Absolutely love pitch 40, this was a grass pitch separated by bushes with electric very private, was a 20 minute walk from the beach.
The staff there were outstanding and really polite. My extension lead wasn't long enough to go to my van so they offered me an extension lead free of charge and without hesitation.
Really love my stay, I will definitely go back again!

Yurt - Nare Yurt May 2025 First class service from the host/owners! We booked the Yurt a while ago then noticed there was a last minute deal on for half term bookings. A Geodome (more expensive before the deal) was free, so we asked if we could swap to the Dome (not really expecting a yes, but hopeful nonetheless). To our delight, the owner immediately said yes, swapped it over and that was that!
Lovely clean, pretty and private site. Geodome was lovely and spacious with most things thought about. Only thing we would suggest is perhaps a toaster?
Nice 25-30 minute walk to the beach across the golf course.
Would definitely recommend the site - thank you to the lovely staff.
Family with trailer tent
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 The site was nice, clean and quiet. We were on one of the pitches at the back. It was level and had hedges on three sides which made it quite private. I have to say though, if I was to go back there, I would ask for one of the pitches at the bottom. They looked more sheltered and nearer the shower block. We enjoyed the site and the staff were very helpful, we were just a bit unlucky with the weather (lots of rain).

Trailer Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 The only thing that let us down was unfortunately not the campsite's fault but something to consider. Our pitch was close to the road which both nights we stayed, was busy with boy racers loudly bombing it up and down the road until after 11pm.
Otherwise, the campsite is within walking distance to Eden Project and the beach, with access to beautiful footpaths.
The staff were really lovely and helpful with lots of guidance, weather and maps displayed for all to access. They make a lovely breakfast bap and coffee and their shop is full of treats. The campsite is beautiful and has lots of character, privacy and layers. The toilet, shower, kitchen facilities were great, clean and hot and campers kept it tidy. It is easy to find and affordable.
We have a roof tent which sat nicely on the grass pitch.

Lovely private pitches, quiet campsite with wonderful views. All of the staff were friendly and very helpful.
The site was clean and tidy, toilet and shower blocks cleaned daily and hot showers that stay on!
We will definitely be coming back, we loved the walk down to the beach too. Very dog friendly site with lovely dog walks around the pond!
A perfect stay, we can't wait to come back!

It's very dog friendly with a nice walk at the bottom of the site, and in a great location to access the coastal path with plenty of dog friendly beaches!
Would absolutely recommend and we will definitely stay again. Thank you 😊
Lovely site
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches May 2025 Cannot name a single fault from our stay. Last minute booking on a bank holiday weekend, picked as it was local-ish to us and dog friendly for our first camping trip with our rescue pup.
The site itself was lovely - neat pitches, clean and tidy facilities, and really quiet (a little bit of traffic noise but nothing excessive). Staff were helpful on arrival and readily available if needed after that. The local beach (also dog friendly) was an easy five minute drive away, really picturesque with plenty of food/drink places and even live music some evenings.
Would definitely recommend and return!

Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Apr 2025 It was quiet when we stayed as it was after the busy Easter period.
It was a lovely peaceful few days, the site was clean and well maintained. The toilet and shower facilities were great as was the wash up area. The location was great for a nice walk to the coastal path and a drive to other tourist hot spots. The wardens were lovely too, we were shown to our pitch and given lots of recommendations and advice on where to go, what to see.
We would definitely stay again and recommend this to others.
