Definitely impressed!

My partner and I, along with our small dog, really enjoyed our stay here. It is a really peaceful campsite, with great views. We were welcomed on arrival, shown to our pitch and kept in the loop of some cool/great places to visit and eat. We only stayed for one night, but wish we could have stayed for more. It is tucked away, clean and easily accessible. We had a short walk through another campsite which we were going to stay at, but I'm glad we didn't - as during our walk, there were too many cars and it was a lot noisier than little meadow. The pub (Sawmill) is a 20 minute walk from the campsite, and the path from the campsite brings you out to the main road. A nice little bumble down to the pub and along the coastal path (through the other campsite) was good! We'd definitely stay here again! The facilities were immaculate, staff were knowledgeable and the little shop (even though we didn't use) seemed very convenient. Definitely keep this place in mind if you're looking for cheap but convenient camping near Ilfracombe (5-10 minute drive away).

Room with a view

Unfortunately, even though we booked two campers for two nights, the clutch went on one of the vans so we had only one van the second night. I would say the location, friendliness and facilities were brilliant. We chose this site for the quiet policy. Some of the other people didn't respect this unfortunately, but we are quite a way from the owner's farmhouse and unless it was reported, they would never know. Will definitely be back.

Great views and friendly staff

Staff were friendly and made you welcome! They advised on local amenities and the toilets/showers were always clean!

Lovely view

Nice clean site, well looked afte,r very friendly staff there. Short walk to the bus stop to go off anywhere you like. Showers could do with a little bit more water pressure other than that it is a nice little site with lovely views straight out to sea with a nice little harbour cafe a short stroll away. Ideal place to go for a nice relaxing break.

Our stay at Little Meadow

Absolutely loved it and can't wait to visit again. Booking was simple, we were welcomed and given a tour of the facilities. Loved that the showers and toilets were spotlessly clean.

Fabulous holiday

Fabulous holiday, great campsite in every way. Couldn't have been better, the view was amazing. We had it all, the weather the campsite the view all fantastic ❤️ Love this place and can't wait to return.

Beautiful setting and views

I only have one slight criticism, which is that on the lower pitches the WIFI is not accessible, so try to get a pitch on the higher ground. Beautiful setting and views, very friendly and helpful staff, would highly recommend this site.

A real gem

We loved this site. Beautiful aspect, well-arranged small fields, calm atmosphere and on a bus route. Travelling with a camper we don't rely on facilities and tend to like those campsites that are more natural. This one ticked all the boxes for us and we will be back again for sure.

Beautiful stay at Little Meadow Campsite

My partner and I stayed at Little Meadow Campsite and absolutely loved it! We will definitely be back in the future. This was the most beautiful campsite with stunning views even from our tent pitch itself. The site itself was very well maintained and the facilities were always clean. We enjoyed our stay so much that we extended our holiday and Little Meadow Campsite was very accommodating with this. If you are looking for a peaceful and well maintained campsite with stunning scenery then this is the place for you. 10/10.

Gorgeous views and very peaceful

Lovely place to stay, nice big pitches and gorgeous views. Facilities were very good and nice and clean. Siân was very accommodating, showing us around and letting us know what's in the area. Would highly recommend for a peaceful getaway.

Absolutely beautiful campsite

We rate every campsite we stay at based on three things: location, atmosphere, and facilities — and this one is outstanding in all three. The facilities are excellent: spotlessly clean, thoughtfully designed, and incredibly well maintained. Warm showers, hooks on doors, toilet paper, hand soap, even flowers in the bathroom — it’s the little touches that make a big difference. There are dishwashing stations overlooking the water, which actually made doing the dishes a pleasure! Every building is beautifully kept, with hanging flower baskets adding so much charm. The camp shop is well stocked with useful items, sweet treats, eggs, and pastries. On arrival, we were asked if we’d like freshly baked pastries in the morning — which we collected at 9am and enjoyed overlooking the water. It was such a peaceful and magical way to start the day. We especially appreciated the dog meadow — a safe, open space where dogs can roam off-lead. Watching our dog run free and joyful first thing in the morning was just wonderful. The location is stunning: calm, quiet, and surrounded by nature. There’s a lovely pub just a short walk away, and Hele Bay, a dog-friendly beach, is only a 3-minute drive. The atmosphere on site was perfect. Fellow campers were friendly but respectful of each other’s space, which created a calm, peaceful environment. It truly felt like a retreat. Everything was perfect — truly idyllic!

Lovely campsite. Lovely views. The grounds were very clean and well maintained. Would go against it was a beautiful spot. Very tight to turn on to the location. The facilities could have been cleaner and have more lighting. One thing I didn't like was the site manager unplugged my hook up to move to a different one without letting me know before hand.

We are so glad that you enjoyed the site and its views and that you would like to visit again. We are sorry that you were not happy with the electric hookup being unplugged and moved to another hookup box. We had to act quickly to avoid an overload and ensure that all guests were able to access the hookup points. The turning from the Combe Martin direction is tight - we do advise all campers to approach us from the Ilfracombe direction if towing. Little Meadow is usually flagged up in reviews for its spotless facilities however in peak times when the site is full it can be hard for us to maintain peak cleanliness. I will however feed this back to the team and hope you will visit again and find it to be spotless.

Lovely little site. Clean, calm and peaceful with nice pitches, a good view and friendly owner. Good price too for a solo camper.
