Good site but bad pod management

The place was in an amazing location, great facilities around the area, with so many activities and things to do - from axe throwing and hiking, to a nice restaurant and shop. Clean bathroom with washing/drying options. But the room was very bad, lots of mould around the windows, under the beds and my son has asthma, so this was very bad. Spiderwebs in the corner of the room. They only provided a single duvet, 2 pillows and one single bed sheet for 5 people. This will be something they can really improve on.

Nice break

Sofa bed could be better, everything else perfect - good staff, nice restaurant, perfect location.

Glamping Pod Stay

Really enjoyed our couples stay here, staff we did bump into were very friendly. Nice location and clean accommodation! :) Would have been nice to have enough firewood provided for 2 nights instead of 1 as it took almost all of the firewood just to heat the hot tub. Alternatively the hot tubs could have been heated prior to the arrival! Then we had to pay extra for more on the 2nd day!

Lovely, well kept site

We stayed for 1 night glamping in an eco pod with wood burner. Spacious and clean. Site well maintained. Toilet and shower block really clean and the camper's kitchen actually had a fully equipped kitchen, oven, microwave, fridge etc. Only criticism was the play park area for kids was a bit small so didn't keep the kids amused for long.

Our visit

We stayed at Loch Tay Highland lodges on Friday 21st March for 2 nights. As we entered, it looked fantastic! Service was great as we headed into reception and picked keys up. We stayed in the dog friendly glamping pod with a hot tub, which was beautiful. Later on, we headed down to the dog friendly restaurant, which is great. The food wasn't the best quality for the price and was pretty disappointed. The next day, we explored. There is a cafe around a 10 minute walk away, which does breakfast rolls only, We went on many dog walks but as the day went on, there wasn't much to do, we felt bored. As all we had was a bed, and a hot tub outside to which the weather wasn't great! That same night, I couldn't justify paying the price for the restaurant, so headed out to Aberfeldy for food. All in, the overall experience was basic. I feel there could be a bit more to the site, maybe something to do indoors for when it is a rainy day, or maybe another food place added instead of just the one restaurant. Thanks.

Fantastic

Just back from a long weekend break. The pod was spotless and the location was perfect, views were stunning and plenty of walks for our dog. The staff were very helpful and would highly recommend Lock Tay Highland Lodges, we have already booked to go back.

Very happy

Our first stay at this location and I'll definitely be back! A great little pod which was pet friendly (a huge plus for us) and pretty much everything you'd need for a short break. A nice clean bathroom and a log fired hot tub. They supplied the logs and kindling. I'm extremely happy with our short stay at Loch Tay. A beautiful site, maintained to a high standard. I'm very impressed overall!

Good clean fun

This is the third time I've stayed here, my first in a superior glamping pod. It's lovely but pretty basic, some tea bags and extra pillows would have been nice., If you're going to supply bedding why stop short of towels? The thing we really could have done with was some coat hooks for our wet gear (let's be real it is Scotland).

Pleasant experience!

A lovely place to stay. It was our first experience of glamping and it won’t be the last. Everything about the site was first class. We highly recommend it.

Worth a visit

A great place for a little getaway. The fish and chips from the Boathouse restaurant is 10/10, I would definitely recommend.

Excellent first time glamping experience

We stayed in a camping pod (Hoy) which was excellent. It had all the basic cooking equipment, bedding and outdoors there was a fire pit and hot tub. Everything was clean and tidy and worked! The view is spectacular and we were fortunate to have fantastic sunny weather which was a bonus. I loved that although there were people in most of the other pods, we still had privacy and it was very quiet and peaceful. We didn't use the Boathouse restaurant so can't comment on it. The reception staff were great and it also has a little shop which had fresh milk and other essentials. The only problem I had was that I couldn't walk around the site as it is built on a really steep slope and I have a mobility problem so I'd need to take that into account if returning here. That said, if you've got no mobility issues, this place is absolutely perfect for an amazing break.

Just amazing

It's a very peaceful and breathtaking place to stay .We had booked for 2 nights but we couldn't leave, so we stayed an extra night. It was our first visit in Scotland and it feels like another world. The campsite was great ,you've got everything you need in one place. My little girl (5) loved this place. Everything was perfect and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We'll definitely come back again .

Amazing glamping experience!

We were completely blown away by the camping park. Stunning location, amazing, well kept ground, everything you need for facilities and amenities, and a variety of camping, glamping, lodges or pods to choose from. We can't wait to come back! Thank you!

Brilliant

Loved our stay, it was brilliant. The pod had fridge, kettle, microwave and heating with a fire pit and bench outside too. Very big and roomy. Pet friendly too. Campsite was brilliant and the campers kitchen was incredible! Cookers and all the equipment you need, too. Brilliantly located for lots of walks and adventures.

Brilliant - everything was excellent

Facilities were immaculate - absolutely spotless. Grounds were really well kept. Staff friendly and helpful. Icing on the cake would've been free wifi!
