Impeccable

I had a wonderful stay at Springfields Caravan and Camping! The facilities were spotless and well-maintained, and the services provided were excellent throughout my visit. The campsite has a really welcoming atmosphere, and everything was easy and stress-free from start to finish. I truly enjoyed my time here and will definitely be coming back again. Highly recommended.

Great campsite

Very nice site. Well managed. Nice pitch sizes. You can pick herbs from the herbs garden for your cooking. Well equipped kitchen with fridge, freezer, kettle, microwave and toaster. Pizza van on Fridays which was very popular. Nice views across the valley. We used as a base for Alton Towers 15-20 min drive. There are campsites closer, but probably not as nice. The site wardens are always on site and responded to any concerns immediately. Will definitely be using the campsite again.

Lovely little campsite with beautiful views

Really lovely site. Ground on our pitch was very uneven and could do with being rolled but over all a fantastic stay at a lovely site.

The weather this year has been very dry, making the ground exceptionally hard. We've found that a roller has little to no impact on the ground when it's this dry. We do our best to maintain the pitches, but unfortunately, the hard, dry conditions can cause them to become a bit bumpy. We hope to see you again soon!

Gorgeous little site

Amazing campsite, very small and family friendly. It felt very safe and the facilities were great, much better showers than I am used to when camping and also a fridge and kettle. Lots of thoughtful touches like the hammocks and your own tap. The wardens are always on hand to help with anything. There was a beautiful grey cat too.

Fantastic for quiet camping near Alton Towers

Fantastic site! The people who run it are extremely helpful and the amenities on offer are excellent, especially for the price. My children (10 and 8) enjoyed the park and the supplied fire pits were great. Thank you for such a wonderful time, we will definitely be back!

Brilliant little campsite

An inviting and warm welcoming site. A small location that supports its guests like a community and compliments itself as an individual away from just visiting Alton towers. We will be revisiting in the future!

Beautiful, peaceful campsite

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. The wardens were so welcoming and kind, helped us with any issue we had. The provided fire pits were amazing and the wood we bought burnt beautifully. The facilities were very clean with nice hot showers. We loved the camping kitchen and everything it provided, and we got ourselves some keyrings to remember our stay. We can't wait to come stay again!

Sunny stay at Springfields

We stayed here as we were visiting the Stafford county showground. We stayed on an a serviced pitch, water and electric. All the sites have plenty of space. A fire pit is also supplied on each pitch, not the norm at most sites! Firewood available but we brought our own! Sharon and Paul, the wardens, were extremely helpful and knowledgeable about the area. 7 The facilities were well kept, little kitchen area with microwave, full freezer and fridge! Perfect for campers! Toilets and shower areas were very clean! Grassy areas are beautifully mown and the site was very secure with gates and also a height barrier. There is also a lovely children's play area, bench seats to sit and admire the fabulous view across the countryside. We sat watching goldfinches zooming around! Paul and Sharon were always on hand to help out with anything. Will definitely stay here again. Thank you 🙂

Alton towers stay

Small and friendly but very basic. Keep front gates shut and height barrier across which was quite annoying. Only one shower hot in the men's.

We also understand your points about the front gates, height barrier, and the issue with the men's shower. We're sorry for any inconvenience this caused during your stay. Regarding the gates and barrier, these are in place for security reasons. We keep the gates closed/not locked for the security of our younger campers. However, we are reviewing our procedures to see if we can minimize any annoyance the high barrier might cause for our guests. We are also aware of the hot water issue in the men's shower which is now resolved. We aim to provide a comfortable and convenient experience for all our visitors and will take your comments on board as we look to make improvements. We hope you might consider staying with us again in the future so you can see the positive changes we're making.

Great campsite

This was the perfect campsite for us. It was kept immaculate by the lovely, friendly wardens, Sharon and David, and the facilities were great. Plenty of loos, hot powerful showers, and a campers kitchen were very much appreciated by us. The herb garden, free firepit hire and little hut with tourist info leaflets and a huge range of books for campers to borrow are great extras. The little play area had enough to keep my 9 year old entertained and was at the centre of the pitches, so it's great for watching kids from your tent. Our non electric pitch was a really good size and, while it wasn't completely flat, the slight slope didn't bother us at all. Other campers were very respectful of each other, most were in their tent by 10pm and it was lovely and quiet even before that. I think this is the real benefit of a small campsite and one with wardens who have a good presence throughout the day (in a very nice, unobtrusive way). I would definitely recommend this campsite and wouldn't hesitate to come back if I need to stay in the area again. Great for families wanting to visit Alton Towers.

Lovely small, friendly and relaxing campsite

Great place to stop over for a trip to Alton Towers. Facilities were great - we weren't expecting a microwave, kettle, fridge or freezer. Fire pit was great and loved the fairy lights around the campsite to make it feel special. We felt happy and safe here. Thank you.

Fantastic

We have really enjoyed our stay ay Springfields Countryside Caravan and Camping. The views around the campsite are simply breathtaking with beautiful panoramic views of the surrounding hills and valleys. The facilities were also excellent and hygienic, being cleaned daily by the owners. But the highlight for us was the friendliness of Sharon and David (the owners) who would quite often walk around the campsite asking how our day was or simply saying hello. They even offered to let us use their gas because we had ran out. Really worth the money we paid. I can't recommend enough. Thank you for a fantastic time.

Fantastic campsite

Plenty for the kids to do in and around the local area, very accessible, staff are amazing and friendly, tent setup was perfect for us. We will be returning with some other family members for a longer stay in the new year. The facilities and services are fantastic, the location is great, love the long grass around the pitch as it offers superb privacy and with all the added extras in the tent and around it, it was just perfect for our little family getaway, the staff on site are wonderful, very helpful and work tirelessly to look after the site, beautifully decorated spaces, plenty of open space for the kids, a herb garden! Toilets are clean and there are plenty of them for when the site is busy and 2 showers in each of them so not too long to wait for that. Smores kits, prosecco, firewood, fridge, freezer, microwave, kettle, two sinks for dishwasher. There's not really anything to fault here. Even little steps for the kids to help. Baby-changing facilities, toilet seat for toddlers. Lists endless with things they offer here, couldn't recommend more for a stay.

Amazing place, so beautifully done. Friendly, kind people. The pitch made it for us. You have your own water area not on top of others. Would definitely recommend!

First class camping in Stoke on Trent

Just got back from three wonderful nights at this campsite and I can’t recommend it highly enough. From a warm welcome on arrival, to the excellent, spacious flat camping pitch and the lovely amenities block, it was as good a camping experience as we’ve had. Loved it.

Perfect campsite

Such a lovely site, good sized pitches, lovely rural views, good hot clean showers, clean and spacious toilet block, facilities for washing up and a fridge, kettle & microwave. Owners were very lovely and were always around if you wanted them. I definitely recommend this campsite.

Really lovely campsite

Really nice campsite, extremely well kept pitches with lots of flowers. Facilities were immaculately clean and very cute, owner was super friendly. Would 100% recommend!

Fantastic site to stay

We stayed here for just one night and my wife and I really enjoyed it, the views were amazing and the facilities were great. Thoroughly recommended, the staff on site were very helpful.

Access is down a country lane. Great size pitch with full services. Beautiful views. Toilets very clean if a little old. Wardens very friendly and helpful. Would certainly recommend.

A delightful campsite, with everything you'd want and need

Thank you for a lovely two night stay in one of the beautiful bell tents. They were a delight! Clean and very pretty inside and out. A little luxury camping that I've not experienced before, but would definitely do again. Everything was thought of right down to the s'mores kits! A great bonus for us having travelled in a fully loaded Mini Cooper with very little space for any accessories. An extra heater was well received and the hosts could not have been more accommodating and friendly. Excellent location, just 15 mins from Alton Towers! Hope to see you again soon 😊
