Perfect location
Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2024 The campsite met our immediate short term booking needs and site facilities offered were what we were looking for.
Views and closeness of places to visit is also attractive to us.
Some ideas of places to visit from owner you can find in the facilities room or ask owner. The owner is very friendly and helpful.
Site is clean and well maintained by owner.

Comfortable and welcoming
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Mar 2024 We stayed for one night and immediately felt welcome as we were told about the facilities.
They have toilets and showers, as well as a kitchen area with a microwave. The field was nice and we were able to drive our car right up to beside the tent which was great. The owner also gave us some ideas for where to walk nearby.
We would definitely recommend this place. It has a lovely view and seems to be one of the only places open around Easter too.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2023 We had the best time. Facilities were clean and all in good condition and the views are amazing. So much to do within 15 mins drive but you are right out in the countryside. Highly recommend, really friendly, accommodating site.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Great site, Chris was very helpful with suggestions of places to visit and the best ways to get to them (avoiding all the traffic). Facilities were always clean and the water in the showers was lovely and warm. Will definitely be returning.

Hardyes Campsite
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 Hardyes Campsite is a perfect little location set in the countryside. Chris the owner was so helpful and extremely knowledgeable of the area, nothing was too much trouble for him. The facilities were some of the cleanest I've seen and no silly push button shower either.
We were very close to Weymouth and Yeovil. Perfect location if you like peace and quiet away from the hustle and bustle of the city. The price was such a bargain as well for a bank holiday weekend.

Chris was excellent as our host. Very helpful regarding local spots to visit & ways to get there. He kept the toilets & showers really clean.

Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2023 We were a bit worried by the term "pop up" but we needn't have been.
The owner met us and gave a great introduction to the site and the surrounding area. Site facilities were very clean. No problems getting onto and out of the site. Electrics worked as they should.
Site is central for lots of the attractions.

If you are after all things historical, cultural and natural in the area, this is a place for you. The host guides you through the things that are available in the area, providing with the information about the best routes and parking places.
The site itself is a small, quiet, perfectly looked after, extremely clean. Any questions and difficulties are dealt with immediately and with great care. Absolutely recommend and will visit again.

Any issues are quickly resolved by Chris the owner, who is always on hand.
The site is in a great location to visit many different areas and attractions.

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 We spent an amazing week here. Chris the owner couldn't do enough for everyone, kids all loved him, he was always around to help and really attentive. Beautiful views everyone was friendly we are definitely going again.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Jul 2023 This campsite is basic but has everything you need - clean toilets, showers and a washing up area.
It's close to lots of beautiful Dorset beauty spots, such as Lyme Regis, Weymouth, Westbay, Durdle Door, Studland, Eype, Charmouth ect.
The campsite does have electric hook-ups, but also has a plug socket to charge your phone if you don't have an electric hook up. Also, a microwave, which is really handy when the weather is not the best, and you have allergies that prevent you eating out.
The people that run it are nice, kind, helpful and know the area well. My 11 month old enjoyed borrowing a Cube slide to play on while at the tent.

Hostess with the most
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 After looking for a last minute campsite only a couple of weeks before arriving on a bank holiday weekend with friends, we found this little gem within our small budget for a last minute trip.
Chris was accommodating putting our group together fitting us in. He was super friendly and made us feel very welcome, which is great as when you arrive with your 3 children and a dog you can sometimes feel like you are imposing.
The showers were kept very clean and the added bonus of a place to wash dishes and a microwave was super helpful! I plan to book again in 2023!
Relaxing escape
Motorhome - Electric Hardstanding Pitches Aug 2022 A very warm welcome on arrival. The campsite was clean and organised great for relaxation on-site. The views are outstanding. Great for country walks. Chris has amazing local knowledge of the area, and was a very helpful person for our 4-day break. 😀

Medium Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 I almost don't want to recommend it as worried everyone will discover this amazing place! A lovely campsite, great location, brilliant super clean facilities and Chris the host was so kind and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, on hand to help and great to chat to about recommendations of things to do. The showers and toilets were kept immaculately clean, which is a near constant cleaning job on a campsite. One teeny comment was it would be good to have a little bench in the shower cubicle to pop your things on while you shower, there are hooks which help but a little bench would be good, or some more hooks. We will definitely be back!! Thank you
