Great location, lovely campsite
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Sep 2022 Great family campsite in a really good location.
Facilities were good- well-stocked and reasonably-priced little shop with good opening hours, snack shack with great wood-fired pizza, breakfast baps etc. Clean toilets/shower block with warm water & handy port-a-loos, drinking water points all around the camp.
Helpful, friendly staff. Nice little touches like fire pits to borrow, ice packs to rent/swap back for frozen ones. Very clean and tidy, and spacious- great for families. There was lots of wildlife and the woods/forests to explore plus Studland, Poole, Sandbanks and Corfe all within an easy drive.
We'll be back next year :-)

Spacious camping VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely open woodland and field site, lots of space and great for walks. Shop, snack bar and reception all well done - friendly, good range on offer. Facilities were clean, though limited - and a long walk from the camping fields as only one toilet/shower block.Take some kind of bug deterrent - we've been bitten a lot!

Nice site, could use some minor improvements.
VW-Type Campervan - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Lovely, quiet campsite, we were in one of the fields on the outskirts. The main area by the shops looked very crowded.
The wash facilities were ok but the showers themselves were not great at all. You got about 10-15 seconds of spray before it cut out, so had to constantly press the button. The floor was dirty every time I went in due to people having to walk across mud to get to the wash block. My partner said there were constant queues for the ladies so the shower facilities could do with an uplift and a proper path laid to the wash block.
Staff at the café were friendly and the fresh cooked pizza was good. I had beef brisket on the Friday though and that was so salty that it made me feel ill. Should probably have taken it back but was close to closing time.
The campsite shop was well stocked with useful stuff and reasonably priced.
More electric hookups in the fields would be welcome in my opinion, as would some better clean water facilities (basically it was just a tap over a wooden pallet).
Overall, a really nice place to camp - would definitely recommend and would probably go back again myself.

At peak times we can get queues for our main shower and toilet blocks, we have an outside shower block and new for 2023, additional shower pods at the entrance to the open field to help with this.
We would love to have more electric hookups it is something we will look into in the future!

Great site that I would revisit
Medium Tent - Non Electric Woodland Grass Pitches Aug 2022 Fantastic site set in a beautiful little Dorset woodland. The staff are very helpful, the food facilities are good and well priced. The most important thing of all is the toilets/showers are clean and well looked after. Would highly recommend and will be visiting again.
