Small pod

Small pod was very small with no storage. Pet friendly but with white sheets, not practical. I think it would have been better with 2 x twin rather than 1 x double bed and some hooks would be great. Individual showers were within the individual toilet cubicles, which I feel is quite unsanitary and I prefer showers to be in separate areas of the toilet block. Great bar and friendly staff. Great location.

Lovely stay

We stayed here for two nights as we were doing the Yorkshire Three Peaks, someone came to assist straight away when we checked in and were given a variety of pitches that we could choose from. A lovely, quiet campsite. Pizza is a must and the bar was lovely and warm, considering it rained a lot on our first day! Only thing which would make the campsite better is just to have a hot tap outside for dog washing facilities, if possible. After doing the Three Peaks, our dog was filthy and so we kept filling our water tubs up with hot water and did it outside. Would be easier if there was a place to do so though. Apart from that, it was a lovely stay. Good location for the Three Peaks and the pizza was so good!

Great site and so friendly!

Great location and facilities! Didn't get time to use bar but looked lovely. Site owners so friendly and helpful, I had some trouble with my van and they went out of their way to help.

Caravan stay

It could do with some locks on the toilet and shower doors, other than that it is a nice site.

Great for Ingleborough and the caves

Hardstanding pitches were excellent, decent size and had good views. Toilets and showers were small and had to wait to go to the toilet as limited numbers. The water for the shower was plentiful and warm. The wash up room was small.

Friendly welcome and wonderful location

Very warm welcome on a dark, drizzly Friday night! Straight to our pitch. Homely bar and the ability to pre-book homemade fresh pizza! Interesting history to the site, have a look when you get here. Beautiful time of year to see Austwick and Settle, great walk on the Saturday. 6 miles to Settle. Bus back to Austwick and a mile back to the site. Crisp cold and dry, Autumn doesn't get much better - beech trees in full reds, oranges and yellows! Amazing. We had a great weekend.

Lovely relaxing weekend!

Peaceful and friendly, with great views. Easy access lovely country pub on site with log burner fire.

Lovely campsite

Great campsite, facilities were great, location was spot on and staff very friendly. Only downside for me was that there could be a little more lighting in the communal areas. If you didn't have a torch, it was very dark trying to find your way to the toilets.

Nice campsite

Nice campsite, some noise from the road and not many showers. Stayed here for a couple of nights. I was on the far side where there are no electric connections. However, this is next to a lane where the tractors thunder up and down all night during the summer. It's also quite close to the the A65 so some road noise. There are 2 shower blocks, but even the closest one was quite a walk and only had 2 showers, I know it rained during my stay but they can get quite dirty inside. The pizzas were good and the onsite bar very welcome, but £5.60 a pint is a bit steep for up t'north!

Great spot!

This is a farm campsite with character! We enjoyed a peaceful two nights here on a hardstanding pitch with electricity in our 7.5m motorhome. The nearby town of Clapham had great parking and some wonderful walks from there. There were also plenty of walking available from the camp. The campsite itself has beautiful views over the dales. The facilities were clean when we first arrived but did get a fair bit of grass and mud traipsed through over the couple of days - it was right in the August school holidays though so probably busier than usual. Also a bar onsite. We loved seeing the stone walls and cows right over the wall that surrounds the camp.

Really good

Great location and good facilities. There were lots of wasps, however but the site had laid out wasp traps.

Okay stay

I was expecting more from the campsite from the pictures, the facilities are okay but very very basic. The shop was barely open and the site is literally a field. If that's what you would like, the views are amazing and the ground is flat for camping.

Not bad

Not bad for a couple nights. One of the blocks for the toilets is clean but it's small. 1 cubicle, 2 urinals and 2 shower cubicles but all in a small space. Couldn't use the showers as they didn't feel private enough. Wouldn't have been able to use the other toilet blocks as they reminded me of high school toilets. The shop shuts at 1pm which is a bit odd, but you can still check in the same space? You can get pizzas on a Saturday night but you have to book. If it was me surely make as many as people want? My kids had fun but unfortunately, we wouldn't go back.

Great campsite within the Dales

A great campsite with a very modern toilets/shower block. Also has the added bonus of a shop and bar onsite. Located on the edge of the Yorkshire Dales it is a great place to stay if looking to go for walks within the Dales.

Lovely

Fantastic place to stay with beautiful views…loads of kids having fun, which was brilliant having two young children ourselves. The only negative was the toilets/ showers, some of the doors didn't lock. We would stay again, staff were so helpful and lovely x

A really good site: spacious, good facilities, beautiful views and easy to get to. We’d happily stay here again.

Beautiful location

Beautiful location, plenty of room on our pitch and owners very helpful. I would highly recommend this site. Could do with a few more showers but was only because it was busy bank holiday weekend.

Dalesbridge camping

Friendly staff, clean facilities, great oven fired pizzas, warm bar and good coffee in the morning.

Wet week in the Dales

Lovely site with all you need. Great drainage on pitches considering it rained a lot. However, the rain didn’t spoil our fun.

The Dalesbridge

Upon arrival we were told what pitch number we were on by someone. The office was shut and so was the bar and food place. Upon further investigation, we were told it only opens on Fri and Sat. Toilet and shower are very basic. Nearest village about a mile away.
