Clear filters Rain stopped play
Bell Tent - Bell Tents (Dog Friendly) Mar 2023 Unfortunately my trip was delayed due to bad weather.
Phil was so kind to contact me a few days before to discuss postponing my trip, which I gratefully accepted.
Fingers crossed for better weather when I'm back in England later in the year.
A great place to stay
Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Sep 2022 Booked last minute. A great place to stay. Spotless facilities, level pitches and a friendly community atmosphere. Would go again✌️
Lovely and quiet
Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Sep 2022 A bit confusing on arrival, as reception was a post in the field.
Someone who wasn't the owner approached and directed us to the pitch. If you've got dogs give St Osyth beach a miss, although it's got a good cafe. Martins Farm Park is best for dog walking.

Bell Tent - Bell Tent Sep 2022 We loved our visit to The Pretty Thing. We stayed in a glamping bell tent, the bed was comfortable and the tent was clean and nicely decorated. The site was really quiet when we stayed which we loved, and the owner was very friendly. The coffee shop serves fabulous coffee and breakfast sandwiches. My daughter liked the little play area, and the park is located within a short drive of Clacton sea front.

Medium Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 Great small site with great facilities, including a fridge and freezer to use.
Owners very friendly, visible and nothing is too much trouble if you need anything.
Very clean.
George's is great for breakfast, great quality and great value.
Park is good for kids to play and make friends.
Would definitely return and recommend.
My first time
Trailer Tent - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2022 First time at the site. Lovely location, small site and well kept. The owner, Phil, is very friendly and welcoming and his staff member Katie was a joy. All in all a lovely relaxing stay. Would definitely recommend it.
Fabulous
Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Tent Pitches Aug 2022 We had a wonderful stay over the weekend. The campsite is cosy and well looked after. Cleanest campsite I have visited.
Phil is a fantastic host and looked after us after during the visit. Lovely cup of coffee in the morning with food options available.
We will definitely recommend to friends and family and will be visiting again in the future.
Touring pitch
Single Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Aug 2022 Pleasant well run site with a friendly owner.
The only disappointment was not enough toilets and showers for the number of guests on a busy weekend.

Motorhome - Electric Grass Touring Pitches Jul 2022 The owner of the site was very friendly and helpful. Everything was very tidy and clean...the cleaners do a fantastic job keeping the toilets and showers clean.
A lot of thought has gone into the glamping tents and huts .
