Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Oct 2026 Excellent showers, there are now 2, 1 with toilet and 2 other toilets. Also 3 pot washing sinks with hot water.

The pub is great, excellent food and beer, large outside areas, well priced.
The site is good - the toilet facilities are reasonably basic but always clean and well maintained.
Because there is a lot of space and the pub offers its own catering options, this is a great venue for groups.

VW-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Electric Pitches Sep 2026 This was an absolutely fantastic site to pitch up. The pub and facilities were perfect. Very clean shower and toilet. Plenty of EHU options and many more non EHU pitches.
Staff were very friendly and helpful. Can't wait to return.
Only small issue for some may be the working site behind, wasn't a problem for us as we were awake early. This is mentioned on their site.
Pub was nice Sprinter-Type Campervan - Hardstanding Electric Pitches Sep 2026 Nice site, we booked a hard standing pitch for our campervan but had to move to grass as the driveway was a bit wet and not sure what they used, but it clumped up our tyres to the point where we couldn't get on the levelling blocks, we had no grip and kept sliding off. Also, just standing on the stuff, our trainers were covered in it, then the inside of the camper soon had it inside.
Sadly, next is the toilets, they are in the pub garden. There is a shower room with a toilet and a separate shower room. The place needs a separate toilet because if someone is in the shower, you can't use the toilet and when you could, everything would be soaking wet. It wasn't clean either that I had to go into the pub to ask someone to clean it before I could use it, which they did right away but the mess that was on the inside lid & side of toilet seat, they still didn't clean, so I had to do in the end.
Toilet should also have a pin lock on for campers use only as it is open to everyone. I also didn't really enjoy walking through the pub garden with loads of people, carrying all my shower stuff.
We did have food in the pub and that was really nice and staff were lovely.

Easy walk into the village to visit the brewery etc.
New washing up area and couple of showers, access to pub toilets 24/7.
Has some hard standing allocated pitches with hook up but the rest is grass and you just pitch up wherever there is space. It's very relaxed and easy going.
Camping and dancing.

Great location, the staff were brilliant and went out of their way to help us, especially when we realised that we had lost our van keys.
The evening entertainment was unbelievable good and we can't wait to come back.
Special thanks to the assistant manager and the bar staff for looking after us.

Extra Large Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Just as described, easy access onto the field. Although I wasn't sure at first if you just drive on and find yourself a spot (you do it seems). Can get busy with campers.
The pub itself is nice, there's also a park which is nice, and friendly staff. We unexpectedly booked while there was a DJ playing. Nice surprise to come back to.
Only one outside toilet (could be better stocked with toilet roll), two showers and there are additional toilets in the pub during opening hours.
Would come back again and would recommend for future use.

We had a wonderful stay and will definitely be coming back :) food was fantastic and camping facilities great, with outdoor loo and separate shower, washing up station and elan point. Lack of toilet facilities Sprinter-Type Campervan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 An okay field for camping and vanning. Good location.
Washing up facilities were good, but shower and toilet facilities were seriously lacking. The campsite was packed with at least 30 pitches. There must have well been over 100 people there over the bank holiday, but there were only 3 showers (wet rooms), 2 of them with toilets inside them.
The pub toilets were available, but only during pub opening hours. Wet rooms were very muddy and dirty most of the time and were not cleaned regularly enough in my opinion. There was also never any toilet roll. There was a festival on the Saturday night, that was not advertised anywhere when booking, with very loud music outside untl11:30pm, and music from inside that could be heard from the campsite until much later.
The pub is nice and the roast dinner on Sunday was very good.

Nice site but very busy Roof Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 The site is undergoing renovation and had some lovely new showers. The staff were very polite and helpful. The food was good, fab pizza's.
The only downside was that you're very crammed in, everyone we spoke to said the same as well. The road is also busy all the time, I know that can't be helped, but I thought it would be quieter through the night than it was.
Central site for Chipping Norton
Twin Axle Caravan - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Good site, toilets and showers clean. Park for the young children. Improving site.
Only downside it is a bit noisy with the tippers next door. But if you just want it for a base, it is fine.
Lovely little site
Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Lovely little site for short stays, currently under construction with what we think is a washing up station. Facilities were clean and we cannot fault the showers, although other campers let it down by not cleaning after themselves.
Pub is lovely, along with the staff and locals.
Things to be aware of, layout is not clear enough if you have opted for electric hook up, and there is a plant and skip hire business next to the campsite, which does wake you up in the morning. If you're early risers, this won't be an issue.
The perfect Cotswolds Moo-cation
Small Tent - Non Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 We absolutely loved our stay The Gate Hangs High and will definitely be back when we next visit the Cotswolds.
It was really peaceful with plenty of space, and we ended up opposite a field of cows which made a lovely view to wake up to every morning!
It’s a great base for exploring the Cotswolds too. Most places we wanted to visit were around a 30-minute drive away, with some good supermarkets near by in Chipping Norton.
All the staff were genuinely lovely. The facilities had everything we needed already, including two large showers, with rain shower heads! Toilets were always clean and available as well. It was really nice having the pub onsite too with a lovely large beer garden. We didn't eat at the restaurant but the menu looked really tasty.

Large Tent - Electric Grass Pitches Aug 2026 Booked this last minute, small site, new shower facilities which are nice and clean.
At the back of the pub, so great little play park for the kids and great food. There is an industrial site but noise stopped around half 5. There is a lot of smell too from the industrial site when they're working, but it didn't bother us as we just came back after the workers were done for the day. I think if you were wanting to spend your day at the site, it would bother you more. But, we couldn't argue with the price, great value for money.
