About the site

This family friendly park has lots of facilities, including an indoor swimming pool, craft studio, arcade and play area, as well as direct beach access. For caravans, campervans and motorhomes, there are 80 premium 4m x 8m fully serviced pitches. Each includes a 16 amp, water and grey waste hook up, and allows up to ten guests. If you prefer glamping, opt for one of the camping pods. Sleeping up to four, the pods include a double bed and a bunk bed, with the option to bring along your own bedding or hire it from the site. They also include electric, heating, USB sockets and a small dining table for meals together. You can also upgrade to an ensuite pod, which includes a private bathroom hut with a toilet, shower and outdoor washing up area on your pitch. Evenings can be spent having a meal at the onsite restaurant, with a family friendly bar and regular live entertainment like bingo and cabaret to enjoy afterwards. Four-legged friends are welcome to join you for your stay too, with up to two pups per pitch or pod. Please note, open fires are not allowed. BBQs must be raised off the ground.

VW-Type Campervan - Premium Fully Serviced Hardstanding Touring PitchesAug 2025

Just spent one night here as we were trying out our new campervan. Welcome at reception was lovely (always a good start!). Struggled a bit to find our pitch, but when we did it was spacious. The overall site was very clean. The ladies toilets/shower block was clean (didn't use the shower, so can't comment on that). Husband struggled to get into the men's block - the code didn't seem to work. The restaurant was fine - food was better than I was expecting and good value for money. The site was quiet at night (apart from a few jets from RAF Lossiemouth). Great access to beach/lighthouse. Overall, I would recommend this for families.

Camping Pod - Camping Pods (Dog Friendly)Aug 2025

Beautiful location but holiday park needs a lot of improvements. The location of Silversands is absolutely beautiful, right beside a huge beach and looking onto the lighthouse. The entertainment for the kids was great, bar food pretty average and pool booking system not the greatest. We stayed in one of the camping pods which I would say is not worth the money. The pod didn't feel like it had been properly cleaned and the shared facilities were disgusting. Luckily we went prepared so we were able to manage without much use of these. However, we had been there for 3 nights and can confidently say the wash up area and toilets had not been cleaned at all. I have attached images of the wash up area as this was extremely disappointing. Beautiful place to visit but would maybe stay somewhere different.
